Loving Bushido Ash, the rules are fantastic! MORE BUSHIDO haha One thing to note- when your snake guy was surrounded, you said that it didn't matter because you were going to be at 1 dice no matter what. In fact, you can go negative on your melee dice pool. However many dice you need to get back up to the minimum of 1 dice your opponent gains as bonus dice. So he has 2 dice base, -1 for being exhausted and -1 for the gremlins assisting each other, putting him at 0 dice. (As you said, he doesn't lose one for being surprised due to the sixth sense trait). He needs 1 dice to get up to the minimum of 1, so Owen would have got 1 bonus dice.

After Malifaux kind of shit the bed with distribution and everyone i play with gave up after being told the june items they preordered might not show up till November we have been looking at something skirmishy other than Warcry to try and these videos really sold us on picking up the starters. Feels like the closest thing on the tabletop to give us more of that Sengoku-Fantasy in Sekiro.

If you're learning please note that when you roll 6s you don't get to reroll a die. It's a mistake they made but obviously recorded a few games before they catch it.

Also where did you get those terrain setup rules from? IIRC the main rule book does not really mention any setup rules, is that a tournament pack thing? Thanks!

Exhausted doesn't impact opposed ki tests But a model that ran does lose one die on melee and ranged attacks

Awesome batrep. love seeing bushido being played. just a few questions, looking through the rulebook i cant see where it says you get -1 dice for being exhausted, also cant see where it says 6 lets you re roll a dice. Are these main rules or model specific?

Page 42 Melee pool modifiers mentions exhausted -1. I believe the 6 rerolling is from an earlier ruleset and no longer exists.
