I think it was boy george saying he was gay and dating some trans person that stopped his career. then it picked back up again when he was seeing stefani? When I was in high school and this came out, I remember ragging on Bush hard. At the time, they seemed like phonies compared to the stalwarts of the Seattle sound. Like they were a prettier, safer version of Nirvana/Soundgarden/Pearl Jam, etc. I hated that I liked this song and video. In 2021, I give up. Even though it's a highly stylized version of the 90s, It's a good song and it takes me back to a time I miss and would give a lot to go back to. Fix mistakes. Live and love bigger and better.
