Tbh the use of an insightful method from a top performer always brings more interest, no matter what. Last year, the yield interest remitted 44k in passive income. Q2 this year was 17k, as it takes time and the magic of compounding. It's truly great to see steady growth.

Hi, I am trying to get an advlsor for guidance but it's harder than you think. I am a doctor and the field of finance is not that close to me so far, but I am eager to bridge that gap. Starting with ETFs is my goal but with so many to pick from it's confusing the majority of the time. Do you know if your advlsor is willing to consult with clients in other geographical areas?

Thanks Brian for the video. While return data is useful, it is also important to consider liquidity. In taking a look at EINC, the daily volume is only $3.8k, with 729 traded today. In a buy-and-hold context, you don't normally plan to sell. However, having liquidity provides some reassurance. Also I understand that MLPs are different animals from equities. JEPI and SCHD definitely have liquidity. I own three of the five you mentioned, and did own one other for a short time. 👍
@BusinessWithBrian
@BusinessWithBrian 7 ай бұрын
You are correct. It is a less popular ETF (EINC), which plays a large role in its liquidity. I'm speculating that a lot of people that invest in this ETF let it ride for the long-term given its solid returns. I also look for liquidity in my purchases, but it has yet to bite me on the backside, where the liquidity was low. Then again, I only have 1 or 2 investments with low liquidity. But you make a great point for any short-tern investors.

Question if I invested in these. Should I put these in a Roth IRA or a brokerage account? The reason I ask is because over time I’d like to pull out the dividends collected. A Roth wouldn’t allow me to do this until retirement correct? So would a brokerage be the smart move? Or can I still do this with a Roth IRA?

The easy answer is yes. For someone who doesn't want to complicate their strategy, picking a few ETFs that don't overlap holdings too much will lead to financial freedom if they follow the rules. Whether you dollar cost average the portfolio or wait for 25% drops before investing larger chunks, it will work. Most people get caught up in the rabbit hole of strategies and get analysis paralysis instead of just starting with a simple plan.

Yours is a very good, solid approach... if. If you have time. Or, if you've already accumulated a sizable nest-egg. If you need income from this mix now, you will only get about 2.5% in dividends for income. You'd need a couple mil invested to get any reasonable amount of cash-flow. If you don't need income and you have time, this mix will grow into a nice sum from which you can eventually glean income as well as experience continued growth. Good Luck and cheers

Hi Brian, Thank you very much for the information. I am new to investing and I am realizing that having cash in a savings account without moving it is the worst option. What I am not very clear about is that with all these ETFs you mentioned, we are talking about returns of 8% to 14% maximum annually, which seems like a very low gain for the risk. Or am I mistaken and dreaming of the Nvidia moment? Can you explain that a bit?

Yes, you are dreaming of the Nvidia moment. The s&p 500 averaged 12.5% over the past 10 years. Anything at or above that is cream. Plus, several true dividend play etf and stock weather downturns better than tech. All about your personal preference

ETFs offer exposure to a wide range of assets, such as stocks, bonds, or commodities, which can help reduce risk. ETFs, like broad market index, sector-specific, and bond ETFs, are favored for long-term investments because of their diversification, reducing risk while offering growth and income potential.

Problem with Dividends is tax every year unless these are in tax deferred accounts. Is there any company, which generates Equity/Stocks instead of cash for dividends ? So that you pay taxes only when you sell the equity. But in case of cash dividend, you pay taxes every year, which is not good for compounding growth. Any idea ?
@BusinessWithBrian
@BusinessWithBrian 7 ай бұрын
It's a very good point, so much so that I only invest in dividend stocks in ETFs in my tax advantage accounts. All growth stocks and ETFs reinvest all of their Equity back into the business and that's why they don't pay dividends. I have several videos on the top growth options as well. Without the headache of dividends and interest at the end of the year, in a taxed account

It seems like it loses alot of value, you'd be better off with a dividend stock that runs sideways with a high dividend like PLFT, or going to a low div but consistently higher value like MAIN, STAG, as for etfs you can't go wrong with a good buy in price on a stock like SPY. I'd advise not investing in this.

The issue is people have the "I want to do it myself mentality" but not equipped enough for a crash, hence get burnt. Ideally, advisors are reps for investing jobs, and at first-hand encounter, my portfolio has yielded over 300% since 2020 just after the pandemic to date.

Why mention JEPI seems like a stupid fund.. what benefit does it offer over a fund like QYLD or RYLD? Some BS protection that will do nothing 99% of the time unless if there is a total stock market crash and even then it may not have any protection at all.. it’s just a fund KZbinrs mention to get views IMO..

I respect all opinions. I gave the specifics why it was on my list with regards to performance during a broad range of time frames (both good and bad times). What are your specific reasons against it? How does it fail your requirements and expectations?

As an lnvesting enthusiast, I often wonder how top level investors are able to become millionaires off investing. . I’ve been sitting on over $545K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy into stocks or do I wait for another opportunity?
