That was indeed busy! Only time I flew into FL was at Cecil, which was...not busy. But KWDR (my home airport) does get busy because of the flight school, the National Guard, sometimes the Zaxby's jet (we're their home base) coming in and out -- and, this past weekend, nearby KLZU, which hosts 12 helicopters, was closed for several days, so things were so busy I had a helicopter on the runway as I was on short final, just as it started to take off! (I didn't go around because that might be even more dangerous, and my CFII was in communication with them and said I could land as planned.)

Helicopter down wash always gets my attention.

@@BaronPilot yeah, it was one of my best landings ever! I'm thinking of asking the National Guard to always prep my landing runway with chopper downwash. 😆
