I find this super interesting because I haven’t had many teachers that genuinely seem to love what they do. You seem so happy and most teachers I’ve seen have the same lesson plan for 5+ years and they constantly complain or get frustrated. And they give a bunch of busy work and have very little concern with us as people being happy and successful. I’ve had way more bad teachers than good. I also just graduated from high school in June.

I’m in college at moment and I used to be a el ed major but over time I found a love for writing more and switched majors but everything you do is so alternative to normal teaching standards and I think it’s amazing that you give your students a more relaxed environment and try to make them become excited to come to class. The only thing is though aren’t you afraid of loosing your job bc of the vlogs? In my personal opinion it just justifies that you love your job more but I would be so scared someone on the board wouldn’t think so. That’s one thing I hated when I was in the education program they told us that you can’t ever really public on social media, heck I have still have friends from the program who don’t even have profile picture of themselves because of that.
@meeg87786 жыл бұрын
I'm completing my degree now to be a teacher and while every school board is different the only way in which a board could really justify firing someone for KZbin videos (if they wanted to fire them) would be if they were sharing their students private information or behaving inappropriately: constant swearing, sexual behavior, etc. As a teacher you are not under any obligation to conduct your private life in a specific manner. The only parts of your private life that you could be penalized for are parts that a person in any career field could be penalized for. ex: hate comments on your Facebook page, breaking code, getting in trouble with the law. Being a teacher might bring more attention to these actions in the media but no matter what career you choose, the things you put online can cause you to lose your job in a heartbeat if they bring negative representation to the company/organization. Always be cautious with what you put online because it can cost you your future.

You're positivity so inspirational. I am a junior in college majoring in math education. I just recently came across your channel, and it is exactly what I needed. After all of this stress trying to get everything done that needs to be done, I am a little overwhelmed, but you have reminded me that I am doing exactly what I want to do. I can only hope to have half the positivity that you have after everything that you have been through, and I can only hope to be half the teacher that you are. Thank you for inspiring me and reminding me that I am doing exactly what I am supposed to be doing.

Right!?!? hope more people see this comment so that the these two awesome teachers can get connected. I am a part of Class of 2021, but to be almost like a mentor to someone I probably wont ever meet that is younger and could look up to me is very inspiring. Im sure the young ones (Michelle's 4th graders) would love to be able to write to an unidentified, yet real, older student... also, I bet the letters from the young ones would be absolutely hilarious and fun to read/document for a video collab!

I'm studying to become an elementary teacher and your videos have been motivating and inspiring me to keep pushing through all of the crazy college work I have to deal with at the moment!!!!! Continuing with my education seems daunting at times because of the work load and stigma around becoming a teacher but you make me forget that when I watch your videos so thank you!!
