i have to disagree with your comment. Fighting, steel mining, and combat have no bearings on genetics. You find the world's best female fighter and put her up against the world's best male fighter and you can post the funeral details next. This is a dangerous idea that has lead to women getting knocked out on the streets! The same premised is used in weight divisions across all spectrum's of combat sports.. Hey i love featherweight boxing, but they wouldn't last two rounds in a heavy weight match. Don't believe me, look up Lucia Rjiker, also known as Lady Tyson. She is the most devastating female fighter this beautiful world could produce.. Got sent to the shadow world against a man who didn't even have the same fight experience.

The thing about women’s “roles” is that these “traditional” ideas of women as the sole homemaker and child-rearer are modern conceptions. Let’s say we travel to medieval France. Peasants of any gender were expected to do manual labor of some kind. On the noble side, it wasn’t the aristocratic women who were responsible for making the home or raising the children, it was servants who did both jobs primarily. Obviously, that doesn’t mean women were treated well back in the day. But these “traditional gender roles” people spout about aren’t as traditional as they think.
@ionfilter0304
@ionfilter0304 11 күн бұрын
modern conception? That's how most large primates work.. In large primate society the male has a defined role as does the female. The female rear the children, while the male protects and determines the safe path to move. The role reversal we now have in our society IS the Modern Concept you speak of.. Secondly the servants who raised the children, made the home were also women.. Just not the mothers. And the male servants were primarily working in manual labor.

@ I’m not sure if you noticed or not, but I’m talking about human roles, not gorillas. The roles of other large primates have no bearing on the roles that humans have developed (you’d be wrong regardless. Male gorillas do assist in the rearing of children, and this has been noted as having extremely positive impacts on the young gorillas). Male servants in castles or manors were able to take on many duties, which included cooking, housekeeping, and tutoring (which I’d classify as rearing).
@ionfilter0304

@@dinofacedindividual9462 First. Looking at primate societies have indeed shed light on human behaviors. Second. "The roles humans have developed" Which proves my initial response to your comment..Third. Male Gorillas are known to be caring to their young because the females watch and judge him on his fatherhood. Thus increasing his chances of mating.. Lastly the though SOME males were tasked with the aforementioned duties, most were outside doing the manual work. Most of the babies were reared by female servants of whomever was in power, Queen,etc. My response still stands..

Chaos and Confusion.. Yes we as humans have come a long way from those strict defined roles.. We can reverse those roles because we have advancements in life other species do not.. But we are relatively new to the timeline and there are parts of us that are subjected to those original roles. It's a progress sir. We have only been on this earth for 200,000 years. That's 0.005% of the planet's history. We are still evolving. Some way slower than others. Not referring to you btw. I not taking a jab at you..

Modern masculinity is ideology. You have to adhere to its strict dogma or people like the guest will call to complain to the manager, or in this case, Jovan. Transpeople threaten their ideology and their hatred is a reaction to that threat, not to mention the fact that they've fallen for propaganda. They also want to portray women as weak and inferior because it makes them feel more manly by contrast. They're trying to enhance the perception of their own manhood by denigrating women because what else are they supposed to do. Most avenues for positive masculinity are closed or invisible to them, so all they have left is bashing women and destructive hatred. (Proof that masculinity is basically a religion is the # of men that come into the chat and whine about the cat ears as if a man wearing cat ear headphones is an affront to god.)

9:25 The origin of sex dymorphism stems from the fact that human females evolved to have only one, usually, baby at a time. That means that to multiply more, humans need a lot more females than males, making the males way more disposable. That meant that males had to evolve to instinctually protect females, and part of that became the refusal of letting women fight, because putting females in risky situations meant less people for the next generation, which is evolutionarily detrimental. Sadly, this meant that males turned the situation around and used their higher body strength and general aggressiveness against the ones they evolved to protect. Basically, culture perverted the natural order, and convinced men they were superior to women, while the actual natural order would be something similar to elephants, were the females are in charge of decisions, or even to ants and bees, where the males are just there for reproduction, without any other significant role. The fact that wars, conflicts, and even casualties during the hunts went down drastically meant that now there's an over abundance of males, something that our species hasn't evolved to account for, and this means there's a heavy unnatural imbalance of power.
