Butane Blow Torch Flame Demonstration - simple device how to use

I really like this setup. This is an inexpensive butane flame blowtorch device consisted of two parts. The top flame gun attachment and a regular can of butane. You can find these 2 items at Amazon:

Features: automatic piezo electronic spark ignition starter. Adjustable high and low flame temperature. Uses butane gas can cylinder, replacement tank is very convenient, the replacement tank only 1 to 2 seconds. Some handy uses are for cooking, bbq, welding, brazing, soldering, cutting, handicrafts, pipe thawing, plumbing work. Caution be very careful when using butane torches indoors. Not for children to play with.

I have a similar one. You line up the tab on the torch with the gap in the collar and twist which ever way it will go so that it locks in place. Mine fits, but not real tight - makes me nervous it is going to come off.

I just ordered the same thing but difrent brand from Amazon. I plan to use it for dabbing wax. If it works it will save me a ton of money over using the thinner butane cans with the skinny nozzle.

@@DonYeyoReaks Effing garbage! Never buy anything from China! Dude it started leaking from the neck and the leak ignited! I had to go throw it outside in the snow lol. BUT I've found a great solution since. Just get one of those dark green 1lb canisters of propane with the torch attachment from probably any hardware store. It heats so fast and lasts WAY longer! It's been saving me a ton of money.

@@DonYeyoReaks ya it's not small for sure. I LOVE my Blazer GT8000 Big Shot Torch. But like I said I was looking for a cheaper solution to butane. It's on the larger end of torches which means less refills of course but it's something I can personally recommend. When I ordered it from Amazon I ordered one for a buddy too and he's still using his to this day years later.

I had a torch just like this one. I put it on, it wasn't loose or anything, I turned it on just a bit and when I clicked with the igniter it burst into flames all around the torch. I somehow smacked it off, but it scared the hell out of me. I ordered another one, but if it'll keep doing this I'll better leave it be.

From what I've read I believe that if you run it for around 120 seconds the flame will stabilize and you can use it at an angle but if you try right away it will mess up.

Obviously not enough thrust to knock the can over. It uses butane canisters. The same ones used for portable gas stoves (camping gas stoves)

@@thekingstayking836 it started leaking after I dropped it. It wasn't hard drop at all but I guess it was enough. I've dropped my GT a few times and no issues with it. Also the GT is the only torch I've had that didn't eventually stop holding a refill. I had about 4 smaller ones before that all went in the garbage. Also I don't think it's physically possible to actually explode unless you toss it in a fire. But you might eventually run into the same issue I did.

Clarence Wu it is useful when you want to join heat pipes or if something is frozen or you need to start a fire or when your toaster is broken or... it is made for many different tasks where you need much heat. In these cases, you don't need punctual precision. I have got a similar torch. I need it rarely... but when I need it, I'm happy about having it. every household should have at least one :-)

I bought the same model. No instruction came with the package. I wasn't wrapped with protective packaging. I don't know if it was damaged but mine had a hissing leaking sound that I cannot adjust to turn off. Product is flimsy and a waste of money. Product is too dangerous to risk using.
