BBQ Sauce Mild
1- 32oz ketchup
1/4 cup vinegar
1 Tbsp chili powder
1/2 cup water
1 Tbsp mustard
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 small Onion chopped
1/4 cup honey
1tsp garlic powder
Place in saucepan and allow to simmer for about 20-30 minutes. Ladle into pint jars and WB or steam can for 20 min.

4 c. Cowboy Candy Brine --
2/3 c. Cowboy Candy --
8c. Ketchup --
1 small can Tomato Paste --
2/3 c. plus 2 T. Molasses --
2 T. Red Pepper Flakes ---
6 T. Minced Onion --
2 c. Apple Cider Vinegar --
1/2 cup honey --
Liquid Smoke (Optional)--
Put all ingredients in Saucepan & Simmer 30-60 min. then put in Pint jars. Hot Water Bath or steam can for 20 Min.
BONUS:
Candied peppers
Cowboy Candy (CC)
3 lb fresh peppers (I use a mixture of jalapeños, Serranos, and habenaros.)
2 cup vinegar
6 cups sugar
1/4 cup mustard seed
1/2 teaspoon tumeric
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
2 tablespoon granulated garlic
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
Slice jalapeños.(food processor) remove most seeds.
Mix cider vinegar, sugar, tumeric, celery and mustard seed, garlic, and cayenne to boil.
Reduce for 5 minutes to a simmer.
Add jalapenos at the simmer for 4 minutes more.
Load sterilized jars with jalapenos first and add liquid filling the jars leaving a 1/4 headspace.
Process in a water bath/steam can for 15 minutes
Makes 6 - 1/2 pints of CC and 4 - 1/2 pints brine
