Just finished making this and dude, you make it look so much easier than it actually is. This took me about two hours to make and it's currently drying. I split so many Popsicle sticks, broke them in half, didn't score them so they snapped. But seriously, thanks! I wanted to learn how to flip a butterfly knife.
@XxxSnipeOpsxxX8 жыл бұрын
how did you drill the holes?
@rotmindol11198 жыл бұрын
+XxxSnipeOpsxxX I used thumb tacks, a lot easier than a paper clip
@rotmindol11198 жыл бұрын
But the again, I didn't have enough Popsicle sticks to cover the staples so, mine looked terrible :(
@BrainstechKnowlogy8 жыл бұрын
+Rotmindol hi Rotmindol. Thats fine bro. Trying and making one is really hard but then whats good about it is that u MADE it and you never gave up.two thumbs up for that bro..The reason why I used paper pin as a drill to make holes on the popsicle stick is that popsicle sticks are so brittle and tend to split and crack easily when you stick something to it. Cutting the tip of the pin makes it sharper. When making a hole do not just poke it or instantly impale it with the pin do not use too much force This will really make the popscle crack so instead make a spinning motion using the pin and a little force so the pin will dig its way in without messing with the stick. Hehe.

I made this and my biggest tip to anyone trying to make it is: use a 1/16 in drill bit instead of a paper clip to create the holes. Then put a paper clip in the holes and bend down with pliers. Also when the knife is completed, use a razor to cut the inside of the handle where the blade usually rests. This will eliminate friction and make everything go smoother. Hope this helped.
