I bought a 2004 XLE 3 years ago that was sitting on flat tires because the AC didn't work. Here in Phoenix AC is kind of necessary but it was to be a second car. The reason I wanted it was it had AWD and I thought that would be nice for camping in the woods. I ended up paying 3,000 for it with 225 thousand on the clock. Over time I've put bigger AT tires and a 3.5in lift. It makes me giggle every time I pull into a remote spot and can sleep in the back without a problem. Minivans are a best kept secret and only the cool kids know this!

I bought mine for $23k out the door (Deal of the century) brand new in 2006 and do not have any issues. Maintain the car with replacing practically everything on the car since 2006 except for Engine and Auto sliding door. The car drives like a brand new van with 180k miles. Keeping it until it drop dead.

We have an 2007 Le. 185k miles. It looks like new, drives like new and has had zero issues and everything works. Wife just bought a new one but I refuse to let this one go. I absolutely love it. I drive it from Phoenix to La and Las Vegas usually with the cruise control set at 90mph. We had an odyssey in the past that was ok but something about the way the the Sienna drives I like much more. It is the best car we have ever had.

October 4th of this year I bought a 2005 Toyota Sienna XLE Limited minivan with over 155,,000 miles on it for 5,100. The engine of our Acadia caught on fire in April so I decided to try and find something good on gas and that I could save up and pay cash for. I had owned a Toyota Sequoia that I loved but it was too popular around here and got stolen and burned before it was recovered. So I decided to check into something not very popular. I knew that I needed 3 row seating because of the grandkids and great grands. This Sienna has leather seats and even has a DVD player, a moon roof, and more than I ever expected. So far, nobody has messed with it and I hope they don't. It rides about as smooth as the Fleetwood we had. I love it!

I newer thought I’d like a Toyota as much as I did. We had a 2005 Sienna xle limited awd. It was nothing short of amazing. We bought it to replace a mercury mountaineer that got rod knock. My wife hated it because of the minivan stigma. Once we got over it we fell in love with it. The only issue we had with the awd was the rear tire kinda camber with mileage and it was something I was starting to look into what I might have to do to correct it. In the end it was totaled in an accident and did what it needed to in keeping my family safe. We are looking for another sienna to replace it. I’ve found that the sienna might not wow you much but the reliability and comfort can’t be beat. The odyssey has transmission problems I’ve found which is what made the sienna our choice.

These vans are great. Learned car repair on the current one my partner and I own - a 2008 with 240k miles. Still going strong. No cold start rattle. That's what you have to watch out for on the 2007-2010s with the 3.5L 2G-RE. The 2004-2006 is more diy friendly with a timing belt instead of chain. Never thought I'd love a van so much

It does not have cool body lines that turns heads and they just kind of blend onto the background. But, the longevity of the engine and transmission make the 2nd Gen Sienna a vehicle you buy with your brain and not your heart.

I have had my 04 for 8 or 9 years. This is probably the top two vehicles I've had. And I've had some great Camrys. I like mine so much that I'm trying to buy another one. These things are fantastic! There are things to look out for.

I just got a 2007 off Facebook marketplace. 17 yrs old but only 118k miles. It's ready for camping with bed, fridge, solar, roof storage. Did some bartering so can't really say a price. Scotty Kilmer seems to like older Siennas, so I'm banking on his expertise.

I have a 2005 Sienna. Let me tell you about the amount of stroage with the 2nd row seets removed (very easy to do) and 3rd row down. I fit a large dining room table, glass top for it, six chars for it, a sofa table, and a tall display cabinet in it at one time all together. When I pulled up to pick up this stuff I bought the guy asked where the truck was. He was completely dumbfounded when I drove away full. I have owned two of these and now having a reman engine dropped in my current one (I stupidly fried it). If I were to buy another car I would look for a good one of these in a heartbeat.

Bought my friends 2008 sienna 3.5L today on behalf of my Brother so he could tow his pop-up camper on occasion. My friend bought it new and took care it of it . I could have bought a 2012 Chrysler town and country with 80k with unknown service history for $9200 but I chose the Sienna with 185k for $4k. Originally, we were looking at Ford FiN Ranger 4.0's but the van is so much more versatile. He loves it and heck I kinda want one now !

My 2006 Sienna has 190k on it. I replaced the timing belt and water pump plus cam seals and crank seals. I replaced the radiator, spark plugs and ignition coils. I have been draining and filling the ATF every year with mine. I even replaced the transmission filter every 40k. I'm counting on my 2nd Gen Sienna to last longer than my 2001 2nd Gen Odyssey. When one of my power sliding doors quit working, I paid my mechanic to change the door into a manual sliding door. The drivers side sliding power door still works. I did have to replace the two rear suspension springs.

@@XxDont522 When you are driving a minivan that can make it to 350k, on it's original engine and transmission, you reach mileage milestones that require you to invest in maintenance intervals. I would rather do all this than bey a used Sienna all over again.

Bought a 2006 with 111,000 miles for 9800 about 8 years ago from carmax. Still rolling with almost 242,00 now only brakes, tires, radiator, both front wheel bearings timing belt/water pump and 1 (yes only 1) coil from autozone lol. I do change oil every 5,000 miles. I also have the o2 sensor engine codes (for essentially 2 years now lol) but it still runs perfect and I don’t have emissions testing so I just clear codes every few weeks! Best vehicle purchase I ever made in my 35 plus years of driving.
