Even better is the fact that later I managed to sell the 1660 ti for 90 euros and get a mint condition RX 5700 for the same price. Undoubtedly the best pc for said price lol

my first pc was a dell optiplex with a rx 580 and 500w power supply. we all gotta start somewhere i paid like £20 for the optiplex and £100 for the rx 580. £150 total for a pc that could run any game in 2020

Thanks! Just go to any "Home Depot" type store and look for storage racks. My suggestion: don't cheap out on these cause I did that once before and they were super terrible. Make sure they can handle at least 200+ kg per section or otherwise they will be very fragile

5th pc was so similar to mine, but just slightly better in every way besides cpu. Think i got mine for $500 prebuilt but has less storage and ram than the 4th seller's :( Wonder what they spent for it when they first got it. But well ram and storage are easily upgradeable atleast

I once built an Aliexpress special e3 1240V3 (~i7 4770), 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, RX 5700 8GB and the rest for like $180 (got taxed $30 bcs i'm dumb) and sold for $325 plus a used monitor, keyboard, mouse. Made $65 which is not bad for like 4 hours of work + gas here. Currently you can build a R5 1600 + B350 + 16GB DDR4 + RX 5600XT/1660S + 512GB SSD system for ~$225 on my local market which is pretty close to the budget There's even a defective R5 3600 with only 8 PCIe lanes for GPU at the same price as the 1600 which is quite good if paired with a b550 board.

@ it’s a config file essentially you remove a lot of the foliage from the map to make the game easier to run, since its client side it’s allowed. Or do what people have been using it for stupid skins only you can see lmao.

Maybe older 7th gen (I hate it from previous experience) Office PCs + 1650S are not that bad after all? But I7 6700 prices are not going down with time but even worse that there are less and less of them on used marked every year and buying Optiplex with I7 is a 2x price increase instantly, it's better to lowball someone for I5 8400 Optiplex but they are trash with 240w PSU usually... But I would still spend 320ish $ for used ryzen 2600 custom build so you don't end up with not wanted components like 1050ti or low speed 8gb ddr4 or old sketchy 400-550w PSU.

Hey man no one told you in the comments but your RAM is running at 1500Mhz rather than the advertised 3000Mhz, you can probably confirm this in the task manager and use the bios to overclock the RAM to the advertised speeds

Currently I'm testing mainly on Ryzen 5 7600, but of course, if I test a cheaper GPU, it gets a cheaper processor paired with it. Which is more realistic than let's say testing RX 5700 XT with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D. Probably no one uses something like this in real life
