I agree. There are so many douchey car channels. Mike is among the last few I have stayed subbed to because he's not trying to be mr cool guy or have a holier-than-thou attitude. ive always done 72 months when getting a vehicle to keep the min payment down just in case a huge financial burden comes through can i have to dump a lot of money quickly but normally ill do double or triple payments on a normal month

imranp128 lol pretty sure if you knew economics, you would know that this was a great investment. He could’ve paid the car off with cash, but even paying 4.9% (he can refinance later) will allow him to use $70k for investments, like paying to produce great content, that will generate more than a 4.9% return (usually at least an 8-9% return). That’s why even millionaires have a ton of debt and stay rich

4.7 is way too high, you should be able to get a lower rate from a credit union or a bank and refi. I just bought my 2017f150 on ford credit for 5.8% just to get a discount, then pay the first payment and refinance to 2.4% saving about $40 per month

Happy for you. The only reason I started watching this channel is to learn more about the Raptor because I recently bought one as well though I paid cash for mine, but I easily could afford it. Now I did pay a fair amount more due to the state I live in, but mine did have the liner and rims which I feel are totally worth it. Anyhow, the more vids I watch the more I realize you and I have walked down similar paths. Glad your channel worked out well. I chose a different means for income and took a big chance as you did to be my own boss. It really is a huge risk, and most people won't take that path because it really is a HUGE RISK especially when you have a wife and kids that depend on you, but the more reason to work harder. Keep up the good work and great vids.

Never put more then 3 grand down on a new vehicle! They lose up to 30% first month driving off the lot! You are better of putting low down payment. Purchasing GAP insurance and making principal payments to pay it down faster. I purchased a new 2018 Promaster 2500 van put 7k down was hit by a red light runner after 5 months of ownership. Lost my whole down payment because of depreciation. The van only had 5 thousand miles on it and zero scratches before crash. The insurance paid exactly what the bank note was. 100% of the time I put 1000 or less down and purchase GAP insurance I should have done it here and would have still had over 6 k in my pocket!!
