I have a Kubota B2601. I use turf tires because I live in northern Maine and need winter traction for snowblowing and mowing pasture and lawn in summer. R4's are not good in cold weather. Hard, doesn't sipe snow/slush and very slippery. No experience with the newer R14's, but dealer recommended turf over them and they have worked well.

Kubota talked me out of getting a kubota. The difference is a 2502, 3302, and a 3902 is the tune on the motor. Identical motors, frames, loaders, weights, everything. I was throughly confused when I read the specifications. But it all made sense once I realized they’re charging you $10k+ dollars for a code on a computer.
@PineyGroveHomestead7 ай бұрын
The 2502 is not the identical motor but the 3302 and 3902 have same displacement. Yes, everything else is identical. Been like that on the L Series for decades.

Good video, thanks. Kubota needs to up their game in this class of tractor (65-70in wheelbase). Kioti is crushing them by offering a cab, side by side pedals, dual rear remotes, and more lift capacity in the same frame size. With Kubota you either have to go down in size to an LX or up in size to a Grand L to get a cab.

My L3130 I noticed a leak of oil on the tire. Can I check the level in it and if it does happen to have the original hydraulic in it.... Is it okay to just top it off with the 90 weight gear lubricant even though that's a different then the hydraulic which may still be original to the tractor? I'm asking about just topping off at this point, although I'm slowly learning everything and will look into changing the front axle fluids as I don't know if this was ever done before. Thank you!
@PineyGroveHomestead6 ай бұрын
I would check it but since it's just drop of oil the level is likely fine. I wouldn't mix the original hydro oil with 90W if I could avoid it but I can't see it messing anything up. What exactly does "till" mean? Why are they called "bottom" plows?
My son fabricated a grapple for my wife's tractor. JD wanted over $800 for a third hydraulic control. We engineered an electric diverter valve for about $150. P.S. She compared her JD to a Kubota and she found the JD to be far superior to the Kubotas.
