sell those 4 drills, your new cultivator can be customized to be a direct driller to.

Good job 😁👍 Exactly right, only require 1 cultivator. And drills need replaced.. I would probably have gone round the edge of new area, clearing trees on flat next to grass (that you cultivated) in order to maximise space . Then cultivate! Possibly could have made new area 6 -12 metres wider each side

While not much to be gained back, still some money to be had selling the potato equipment. You will be wanting a new carting trailer soon with the scale of these fields coming to harvest as well - perhaps that could be a priority before or at the time of the the canola harvest? I'd also love to see corn or sunflowers in one of these big fields soon - saw another comment and agree, maybe an oil mill makes sense soon?

Hey wanted to let you know that if you use the map objects hider you can get rid of the bridge and use a bridge pack to build new bridges so you can have a wider bridge.

I wouldn't have thought the Massey could pull a cultivator this size anyways, though i do enjoy when you're both cracking on with the same job

It doesnt seem to be a hard limit on most things, more a guide, specifically for items that dont need a PTO. I have found that a 120HP tractor can pull a subsoiler, 9m wide that is rated for 180HP. Sure it can only drag it down hill at the full speed of 17KM/Hr, but it can still do 14KM/hr on flat. It struggles on up hill, but for uphill sections I just spin it 90 degrees and subsoil across the hill and not up and down it. Its served me well until now, but now I do need a bigger subsoiler as some of my fields are giant now (1.5 plots is my largest field on this map). Thankfully I have a Fendt1000 now at its base 396HP that is tonnes for most larger implements until you get into the air drills and such. I can upgrade that later to around 500 ponies so that tractor should do me for the rest of my game, if anything I will need to grab another high pony rig... So long as its not one of those middle twisting deals... I loathe those.

If I had that many bales to sell, I would drive my combine down there and use the header to push more of them into the sell point at once. Probably repair the combine while down that way or refuel... not that your combine needs any of that done. Still seems like there is a bit of a disconnect on selling things and buying things. Also, agreed, one cultivator is plenty, until you expand south and start making huge fields. The potential down south with the better soil quality and how flat the land is (and lack of trees) can make for huge fields. I will be soon using an 11m planter mod that also does cereal crops next drill session. Only reason you will need a cultivator again or a subsoiler, is if you have periodic plow turned on. If its on, every 3 cycles you will need to turn the soil over to increase the productivity to its highest level. Since a subsoiler will dig up large stones that cant be rolled in, you will also need a stone picker. And that is where the Lime production comes in to decrease your costs on Lime.

One of the bales stuck to your forks at 9:27, but it went invisible. It was why you couldn't pick up the cultivator at 12:30, and 27:24 Daggerwin drove over it with the seeder haha

There are a lot of bridge mods out there. You could add in a second, wider bridge as oppose to selling the drills. Just an option.
@Broken__Reality5 ай бұрын
Yeah more bridges would be good as the one that is built in to the map is a bit crap with all the lumps going up to it. I've built a couple of log bridges alongside each other next to the original bridge. It gives a lot more space to cross and is flatter so no bouncing and nearly driving into the river.

Your tractor likes to stay in second gear when using the cultivator chainsaw100. I reckon keep one cultivator That top left of the new field has a good view you could but a house on it.👍 Good episode keep it up.😯

I think it was a wise decision not to buy a second cultivator. In situations where one of you cannot do a job till the other is finished with something like the cultivating then there is always something to do and that something is cutting down trees! You have the new tree island to clear out and a ton of other trees round your other fields. It's some nice extra money to earn in the downtime between jobs. It would also give you more space for productions or bigger fields / room to manoeuvre when doing field work. When you make the second field I would leave a track to the tree island so you can work on removing that without trashing the crops.

I noticed while you were toggling field views while Daggerwin started planting the new field and you had the rollers, that the "stones" colour map was suspiciously consistent with the route Daggerwin used the small blue cultivator. Where as everywhere you used the new big one had no stones at all.

if you got all that canola coming in, what about a oil mill with the money of the silage bales?

The fields look much neater when you mark out the boundaries as opposed to Daggerwin doing it

You could build another bridge next to the original one, so it works as one wide bridge 😉

Yeah sell one set of drills, get a planter, and may as well keep blue cultivator if u want? It's not worth a lot anyway now perhaps.

If you would buy a larger Direct Drill that can also do fertiliser at the same time.. Could you make new fields with that too, or do you need a separate Cultivator for that still....? Because if you wouldnt need a separate Cultivator for that, then you could sell all 4 Direct Drills and the Cultivator and buy back one bigger Direct Drill...

You two are farmers why not have a feild each work together with animals help each other with collecting seed but stop getting under each others feet either build sheds on other side of river or build wider bridge

😂😂Why not just invest in a legit auto bale loading wagon ? It's really frustrating to struggle with bales off the field and push them "neatly" of close to the sell point bale wagon it's like 60 000 I think and it's just so much better trying to struggle unnecessary manually

You need to sell all four drills and just have one bigger then you don't have another incident like the oat field, if one of you is cultivating one of you can drill.
