Great stuff Jon and Ashley. Jealous of US golfers and choice of golf clubs and cheap deals, thrift shops etc. Australia is terrible for second-hand golf market, and good thrift stores/discount golf stores. Would love to come across and go round some gated community sales and thrift stores.

Jon-- The project x PXi shafts are in fact steel not graphite. The coating and graphics make them look non - steel. I have these shafts in 2 of my iron sets. Great choice with those!

Those project x shafts aren’t actually graphite. Those are the PXI’s they were projects answer to the steel fiber . The project x IO is actually todays version of the shaft. They didn’t think it was necessary to go after SF

Been hitting, buying, selling, clubs since the late 80s. The PXG driver with hzrd shaft is the best driver I have hit in 40 years. For me that is. It is possible the shaft is just perfect in kick pt, flex, torque, weight, etc....but I would not sell my PXG for 3 times the retail price.

A set of clubs for 1K$ these days, good luck. Too bad golf equipment has skyrocketed in price as it has. I got my son a full set of Callaway Edge for 500$ at Costco. A very good set, comes with Oddysey putter too!! Still have enough money left over to upgrade the driver and add a decent 56 or 60 degree wedge.

I tried a center shaft triple wide at golf galaxy and loved it, then looked at the $400 price tag and put it back, ended up getting a Cleveland classic collection 5.5 center shaft putter and I freakin' love it! Paid $75, which was still too much because they were $69 new!😂

I had a thousand dollar challenge and this is what I got for the challenge. New Tour Edge C722 driver 150 New Tour Edge C722 3 wood 140 Used PXG 0311P Gen 35-GW 450 2 used Vokey Wedges 54 and 60 degree 120 Used Callaway Alpha 815 4 hybrid 40 Used Odyssey double wide putter 90 Came in 10 dollars under. It was really hard. Good work you guys

You’re saying 200 is deep for a seven iron. I’m 6’7” and I use the PXG 0211. I do hit my seven iron, 200 with an attack angle of 45°.
