Only if you are already retired, these cc etfs should NEVER be used as growth funds, and especially if its not in a roth account. The tax bill will kill you. Look up video from Viktoria April 7, 23.

Depends on the account type. SCHD dividends are "qualified" JEPQ would be taxed at marginal rate in a regular brokerage account. I have both in my Roth

I slowly buy jepq for the monthly payments and aggressively buy schd. I use the jepq dividends to buy more schd. I'm up to an extra 2 shares a month so far.

I have a little money in JEPQ but most of my money is in SCHD and i add to it monthly. I love SCHD it is a little safer than JEPQ i feel.

I Hit 110k today. Thank you for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last months. Started last month 2024. Financial education is indeed required for more than 70% of the society in the country as very few are literate on the subject. thanks to Kristin Hillsley for helping me achieve this.

The very first time we tried, we invested $1000 and after a week, we received $5500. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.

I'm surprised that you just mentioned and recommended Kristin Hillsley, I met her at a conference in 2018 and we have been working together ever since.

I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Catherine Gauthier.

My current portfolio yields 8%. I have JEPQ in my portfolio. I do not own any SCHD because the 3.5% dividend yield of SCHD is too low for me to live off the dividends.
@purplegh0st31115 сағат бұрын
Yes but it’s more for a long term investment strategy. If you build up shares now, you can benefit from the quarterly dividends later in life.
@Narsuitus12 сағат бұрын
@@purplegh0st311 For a more ĺong-term investment strategy, I use SPYD. SPYD is very similar to SCHD, but it has a higher dividend yield.

JEPQ VS QQQI
@hwrdwlls8 сағат бұрын
Total return over the past year between JEPQ and QQQI is very similar. With JEPQ having higher growth and lower monthly distributions
@neiljohnston98904 сағат бұрын
QQQI is better if, big IF, you are in a taxable account. But if that is true none of these cc etfs should be used
