I don’t know if this is very cost efficient. But, in the UK. They will sell structural parts. Mat Armstrong rebuilt Adam Liz’s crashed Porsche. He actually had brought the parts to America with him. If he is willing, maybe he could get the parts you need and ship them to you. Just an idea. Take care.

Try watching Mat Armstrong’s video on Adam LZ’s 992 GT3 which he bought from Copart I think. He was able to buy structural parts from Porsche UK (w/o a certification as a Porsche authorized tech) and brought it to the US with him and repaired the whole car in Tavarish’s shop.

It’s repairable for Matt Armstrong and Tavarish. You need to be able to get the manufacture panels. Your best bet is flying to Europe (because they actually sell to the sellers and are not selfish like the states Porsche dealers) and bringing them back to the states if you can’t grab in house.

@KiranPatel-fk1pg basically only thing that would be left after he pulled everything out is the body of the gt3 rs you can swap any engine and trans combo into it you want and a standalone ext I just ment if it was me I would give it a try because who wouldn't wanna see a gt3 rs drifting ... it could be competitive definitely gotta put in some work and alot of fab too make it happen or easy route and body swap the gt3 rs onto another chassis and send it I was only meaning looks wise of a gt3 rs out there putting in work drifting

Hey Teej, don't know if this is true for GT3RSs but for the Cup cars, Porsche will sell you a replacement chassis if you give them your old one, might be worth asking around, if I recall correctly a chassis replacement was in the 20k USD ballpark, I'm not entirely sure so don't quote me, but you and your connections might be able to dig something up, best of luck, I'm really excited for this

Porsche uses all Bosch parts so when you have the part number, you can just buy locally and don’t have to buy from Germany. Also, Porsche has a markup

930 or 964, steal the interior and drivetrain from the green RS.. redo all the suspension points and use the geometry from the 991 and have a modern Porsche masked under a classic yet iconic frame.

i dont know if anyone is here from goonzquad but even when you expedite those parts you can wait months for them. in their case over a year. I think they are still waiting on parts to finish their build, they said theyd never rebuild another Porsche. When i saw TJ got the GT3 i though oh god the difficulties they had with their non GT3 is going to be 10x worse for TJ
