Derek! You’re one of the few KZbinrs that encouraged me to pickup the camera and start doing social media. My dream car when I was younger was a new edge mustang, literally just like yours. A few years later, several new edges later, and I’m finally in a position I can have a new edge again. I can somewhat relate to how you felt in this video, although I didn’t buy the same exact car back, I bought my old dream car and plan on reviving it so one day it’ll be good lookin enough to park next to blue2v. Glad it’s back . To be honest I know I’m going against the popular opinion but I would like to see something different . How about go all out and build the 4.6 2v . I mean we forget it doesn’t take 800 horsepower to make a new edge fast . If you put 550-600 on the ground with a New Edge it’s gonna be a Monster . There’s still guys out here with 2v’s that would love to see someone build 1 . I mean everybody’s doing Coyote swaps and u already have 2 Brother . Just my opinion

So glad you got OG back. One of the reasons why I started watching you to begin with. At the time, I had a 95 with a v6 and wanted so bad to do a poor man’s cobra conversion but wasn’t able to. Ended up selling that car because of life. Now I’m starting to get that itch for a new edge 2 valve or a terminator and maybe I can make it happen this time. Bought My first Stang Feb 1999 . 35th anniversary Black 2 valve , I was 26 and in disbelief , heaven when I drove Vader off that lot. Went straight to shop and put some Flowmasters on it😂 Sounded so sweet, they sure are pretty those New(old) Edges. Love it, go get it👊🏻

I recently picked up my first mustang. A red 1999 V6 manual. It's a long ways off from my dream car, an S550 Mach 1, but it'll get me through however many years it'll take me to build my resume and get a job that will allow me to have that kind of car one day. I'm looking forward to the miles we'll be spending together, even if i know it won't be my forever car. I hope whenever i do have to part with it, it'll be for something greater.

You should do the spoiler mod and slide that thing back a few inches. It makes a significant difference in the side profile of the car with tail now extending past the trunklid.
