I think you did well Inga, you respect the ingredients and finished dish when you cook and bake, and something in me has a feeling that respecting the food and where it came from is a big part of why Gordon can have a temper in the kitchen on his shows- food is being disrespected and wasted because of people’s sloppiness and disregard. As someone who’s not a chef, I can say that everything in the video looks amazing, and I do hope that any professional chef out there who comes across the video will appreciate the effort and your respect for the food and doing your best with what you have as far as kitchen goes, experience and so on. But imo, you could totally run a restaurant, cafe or bakery because everything you make is just so pretty and looks like it is made with a lot of love!

Hey just so you know, you had an amazing first attempt at beef wellington but here are my tips as I've done it a few times. 1. The mushroom duxelle was a little overcooked, atleast for my taste. 2. Your pastry didn't quite rise correctly. Here are a few reasons that may have happened: You cut too deep when scoring the pastry before putting it in the oven Your oven was too hot or not hot enough. I suggest putting a storebought hanging thermometer into the oven to test that it is correctly heating. It could also be that It wasn't in long enough. This just comes with experience of making the dish. I usually put mine in for about 30-35 minutes. All in all, I loved this attempt and hopefully you enjoyed the recipe. It's one of my favorites. Happy cooking!

What about 24hr of one country? We can't travel right now, but we have been a whole day to France. Very fun to stay the day with croissants, crepes and mussels for dinner. Other days we "food-travelled" to Spain, Italy, Greece, Japan, the US. Use your fantasy :) It were really fun date-days 😊

Seeing as I've only gone to Targets in smaller cities. Are Targets in cities like NYC and LA really that bare bones looking? I mean they don't really look that decorated and kinda like a pop up joint.
@brid89234 жыл бұрын
@@TBegay I looked them up, they really do seem kind of pop up in NYC. lol I live in Kentucky, the ones here are pretty huge and look like standard Target-style. The ones in LA are pretty normal too, from what I remember.

I have the worst time watching food videos because no matter when I watch (3am, 3pm, whenever) I want whatever the dish, and want it now. That said, I actually have all the items to make Gordon Ramsay's scrambled eggs EXCEPT the mushrooms and on the vine tomatoes. I so know what's for lunch! 😂 🥚🍳

Can you imagine having the spoons to cook 4 beautiful intense recipes all in the same day?? The scrambled eggs maybe ... but any one of those other recipes I would have been done cooking for that day and the next if I was making them!!! Good for you, Inga!

The honey is less for flavor and more for its binding / emulsifying properties. It's a great way to hedge your bets and keep chocolate from seizing.
