@@toysmostwanted oh rice for breakfast! That's so interesting. I can kinda understand the sandwich for snack thing. I'm from Pakistan, and we mostly eat rice for lunch and sometimes for dinner, but rarely for breakfast. It's good to know about food culture of other countries 😄
@toysmostwanted4 жыл бұрын
@@nehasara4010 It's came about more as an economical solution. Rice is our staple food. We eat it for breakfast, lunch and supper. We even have rice cakes as snacks. It's often just plain steamed rice then paired with a flavorful viand or two. The thing is, at the end of the day, we'd usually have a lot of leftover rice from lunch and supper. So, in order to not waste them, we refrigerate and cook them into fried rice in the morning.

Dont be so harsh on yourself. Her pancakes were originally stuck together in a line and I'm willing to bet it took her a few tries and editor magic. The egg sandwich, one I tried myself; the only trick is that flip. It is all in the wrist, and if you flip it too aggressively it falls apart. Gently, always do things slowly if you are new in the kitchen so you get the technique down first. And take it from someone who knows, slow and pathetic flip is far better than an aggressive flip that leaves a mess everywhere. 😂

You can actually even deep fry the the rice paper whole and serve it as is to accompany some types of Vietnamese salads. We just break off pieces as we eat it and use those pieces like crackers or chips, where you load some toppings (a bit of the salads in most cases) on them before eating them. Even simpler is to just dip the pieces in a sauce.
