The people who googled “how do you know when a relationship is over?” If you asking that question then it is over.
@johanvajse8410
@johanvajse8410 4 жыл бұрын
I've googled that question dozens of times during my 17 yr relationship. It isn't over yet. Sometimes it just feels better knowing that others are going thru the same thing. Also, google brings up lots of articles that have given me a different perspective. Don't be afraid to ask that question, and don't assume it means the end.

Cheating is obviously really bad but have you ever done something mean and disrespectful to someone when in a fight and then made things up again? Like a friend or a family?? Why could you forgive your best friend or family member for doing something disrespectful but couldn’t forgive your s/o for cheating? I think forgiveness is very important and relationships can be painful at times .. but there is a limit though

Lies and Infidelity is a very serious issue to deal with and it’s a major threat to most marriages and relationships.Scars left behind from a narcissist husband is hard to erase from the mind. I was reluctant at first about finding the truth about my cheating husband but I’m glad I finally took the courage for it .I got help from Cyber Hack Solutions as he helped clone my cheating husband’s phone and I got access to all his phone call logs, emails, text messages both deleted texts and also social media chats; whatsApp , Facebook, Instagram without having access to his phone because he is mostly out of town due to the nature of his work and I was able to track his location too, all I provided was his phone number to this wonderful hacker. This was very revealing for me as he’s a serial cheater until I got into his phone and ended things.I’m glad to uncover his, lies, secrets and Infidelity. You can contact this amazing Hacker David via gmail (cyberhack003) or text and call on his phone and WhatsApp : +15303784744

Please don’t enter an open relationship if you’re insecure about your partner, or know that one partner will have more flings than the other. I’ve seen open relationships turn super toxic when one partner sleeps with 5 people a month, while the other hasn’t had any. Really fast way to set power imbalances.

Open relationship literally sucks..my opinion
@SiSi-xg1hk
@SiSi-xg1hk 5 жыл бұрын
I agree with what you're saying. My husband & I have thought of being open & he said that he's afraid of, you know, me not getting any while he has a good amount of sexual partners. I don't think of it as a contest or anything, I don't see myself getting jealous, but that's because I know I am not as interested in just hooking up with anyone one-night-stand style. I'm more comfortable with having sex with people who I know & who I actually like being around. But we've shifted our ideals from just having an open relationship/free-for-all to now looking at couple swapping with a few friends who we know & trust. It's an interesting topic to talk about with your partner, that's for sure, & discussing boundaries is key.
@ZephariusBe
@ZephariusBe 5 жыл бұрын
That is false. It depends entirely on the person, which is why communicate is so important in an open relationship. I'm not really too interested in having sex with other people, but when my partner sleeps with someone else I"m always like 'yeeeeah get sooome babe'. The only thing 'toxic' about those relationships was the inability to communicate that maybe the open relationship wasn't right for them, or maybe there should be conditions on how many people they sleep with. Some couples even have vetting processes. Like they'll show each other potential sexual partners and discuss whether or not they both feel comfortable with the one person sleeping with them. That way, the other partner can also keep track of when their partner has slept with someone new and needs to be tested again.
@SiSi-xg1hk
@SiSi-xg1hk 5 жыл бұрын
@@ZephariusBe That vetting process is a good idea. We established boundaries like only having sex with people who test negative for diseases & always using condoms (because we also don't want babies with any of these partners). I stood up for the boundary of not bringing sex partners who are strangers to our home for safety concerns because it only takes one possessive & crazy person to wreck your home life with stalking, vandalism, harassment, etc. Finding a common structure of values & anticipating what could happen in different scenarios is a big part of our conversation.

That last thing he said, that there’s nothing a relationship can’t get through if both people are willing to try, Im always the only one wanting to try, i always suggest therapy to fix things or to even just attempt it and if it doesn’t work then we can part ways but my partner never even tries, and that’s what hurts the most about breakups to me.

I would see their actions as representative of how much they valued the relationship. Everyone deserves someone that wants to try everyday, including you. Wait for yours! In the meantime, just make yourself happy and enjoy being single and love yourself. And every relationship has its own value. Maybe thinking about what you learned about life/yourself/inner desires will be a good way to see the benefit...

Thanks for the vid! “The affair is usually an indication of deeper issues.” Them’s dangerous words that can be misconstrued. Like fault-finding with the partner who was cheated on. Deeper issues would perhaps be... with the partner who cheated, perhaps has serious commitment issues, or wanted to end the relationship, didn’t have the guts to do it, so sabotaged it. Yup. Those are deep issues.

I dated my best friend of 7 years for 3 months and we both broke up because of a disagreement that would get worse in the future (we both know what we want will not change). I skipped the greif stage. I emotionally disconnected long before it happened so I wouldn't feel pain. But the next day he accused me of something horrible and now we are not talking. It is so weird to me to think that I've just let him go so fast and easily as a friend AND lover. It feels like I have but I feel worried that I did that and that I'm not in major pain over it.

Nastia Hares that’s amazing! Sorry to hear that you guys probably won’t be able to see each other for awhile. Maybe put some time aside and surprise him? Talk to his family to help you do that! I did that with my bf and his family helped me and I got him good (with a prank involved too) 😂 hahaha. But honestly it’s all about having that open communication. Lucky he and I both were very open and honest. When things were rough and I felt like leaving for something petty he said no we’re going to he through this and talk it out. He spent a whole month with me and then I quit my job to spend 4 1/2 months with him and at the end of that year he moved in with me. And it’s now been a year living together. Communication is key girl! And the time away from each other on holidays I totally understand, it does bum you and it hurts. I totally know that feeling.

[Asking for advice] I'm going into my first polyamorous relationship, i'd been in a monogamous relationship with my partner for 10 years, and I thought I was purely monogamous because i'd never loved anyone else while being in a relationship, it was always my partner only, I never had eyes for anyone else, but within the last year I noticed I started to have feelings for another guy at the same time as my partner, I still love him completely, and I have spoken with my partner in regards to this as these feelings developed asking him how he feels about it and what he would like me to do, because frankly I was terrified I was going to lose him for having these feelings, even though i'd not acted upon them, and he came up with the idea of the relationship going poly, seen as the guy likes me back, he knows the person, trusts them and also understands that I still love him. Does anyone in a polyamorous relationship have any tips about this because I have never experienced this, and i'm kind of going through a lot of fear about hurting either of them.

Cheating = lying, a lack of trust, no respect, not caring about your real partners physical or mental wellbeing. Cheating = it's over Sure maybe it's a "symptom" of a larger issue they have, maybe they have trust issues or had a bad relationship rolemodel as a child. Maybe they just wanted multiple partners. Regardless of what it was they should have talked to their partner first, maybe they would have agreed to a open/poly relationship if they knew how their partner felt. Cheating just shows they don't actually care about your feelings at all. If you don't care about me... what reason do I have to stay? None. Micro cheating i dont care, we can talk about you flirting with other women and work that out. Actual cheating, where you risk my own health by potentially spreading diseases to me. Actual cheating where you tell me you love me, and then lie to my face every day. Actual cheating where you don't give me the mutual trust and respect that I deserve. Is unforgivable in a relationship.

His explanation of poly relationships isn't quite accurate. They do not always involve 3 people who are in a relationship with each other. I'm polyamorous and I have a husband and a boyfriend. They are both romantically entangled with me. However, they are not involved with each other. Polyamory is a subdivision of ethical non-monogamy that also includes having multiple romantic relationships simultaneously not just having sex with people other than their otherwise monogamous partner.

I think people still want the emotional security of a partner, but with the option to be fulfilled elsewhere. Being single would likely fulfill nothing if you're only having meaningless flings.
