It is happening to me right now, we had a relationship of almost 3 years. And we were fighting more than we used to, because we had a lot of our own issues going on which gave a lot of stress and tension. But i thought it was just a rough patch and we would make it work because it only had been like that for a few months and we finally were getting back on good terms. A few days later he went on this trip with his friends and the day after he came back, he broke up with me. I didn't see it coming at all since he was texting me all the time how much he loved me while he was on the trip. It definitely is the WORST feeling ever.

there are MANY things that can cause this familiar feeling. i felt this way about my gf. but when i put my head back in the game i remembered that relationships require work. i was giving everything in my life 110%; my job, my friends, my hobbies, etc. but NOT my relationship. i remembered that loving this particular woman was a choice, and i remembered the reasons why i chose her love. then i gave her the same energy and attention i had been giving the other important aspects of my life, and i saw her react like a flower that gets sunshine and water... which, in turn, made me feel all those feelings i had let slip away. this video kinda feels like its telling people its okay to bounce when life isnt easy. i hope folks dont take that to heart. its a huge reason why EVERYONE gets divorced rather than honoring their commitment to fight for each other.

I go through periods where I'm not crazy about my boyfriend but then I remember it's my choice love is something you have to work on it doesn't just happen. Real love doesn't end like this. It's totally normal to need some space once in a while. When someone is really worth it, when your love is really worth it, you don't quit. Young people seem to have given up on love. It's depicted as natural, easy, and something that makes you happy all the damn time, but it's never like that, hardships are unavoidable. People mistakenly mix up love and infatuation (which is doomed to be temporary). Usually in the western society people do no stay in a relationship only because they have a loan, a house, and kids. I was feeling like this a couple months ago. And I was torturing my BF because of this. I would yell at him for no reason, and so on. Then we had a Big Conversation about it. If you ever feel like this, you should talk to your partner. If they're a decent person, you can work together to push through it. I think the main issue with the girl in the video was that she wasn't telling her bf how she felt, she didn't make much of an effort. I think love is a choice. Fortunately I got over the fear . Truth is people need to get over the fact that at some point things will drastically change with your relationship. It's tough don't get me wrong . But at some point you'll realize you're gonna love and loose someone but you'll eventually learn to grow tougher from it . The biggest signs are not wanting to kiss or do lovey dovey stuff anymore with your gf/bf,no spark left and feel like bf/gf is a stranger or friend when you hug them or hold hands....don´t make time for eachother or aren´t even trying to save the relationship. i’m sixteen and over all these years i finally came to terms with myself realizing i’m bisexual, but i’ve only been in relationships with guys and one semi-relationship with one girl. every relationship with a guy that i’ve had i feel like i like them in the beginning but even after a few weeks i get so uncomfortable around them and just annoyed by everything even if they’re doing nothing wrong. i’m in a current relationship with a guy who’s also my best friend and i used to be really into him at least i thought i was, but now every time he kisses me i feel nothing and i get kind of grossed out. the one relationship i had with a girl was absolutely amazing and we had to end things because it was out of our hands and too much for both of us to handle. i’ll never forget her and she’s still so important to me. im starting to think that with guys i only like the idea of being in a relationship and when it actually happens im just not interested anymore. maybe im gay?? i have no idea but i hate feeling this way.

This happened to me. It was the only time in my life where I cheated on someone. I don't recommend doing that. The night it happened was the night that I decided I would leave my relationship, but hadn't sat down and talk it out yet. I didn't really realize that I had fallen out of love with him until someone from my past came back into my life. I regret hurting him, but I couldn't lie to myself anymore. We worked together, but I didn't love him as much as I loved someone else, and if that couldn't change in a two year relationship, then it would never change. I had a lot of the same feelings she discusses, about feeling bad for her boyfriend. I still have the hope that my ex will find happiness with someone who can love him as he deserves to be loved. But I also ruined his ability to trust people, unfortunately. I have to live with that for the rest of my life. It's hard, but it's better than continuing the relationship, knowing I wasn't happy anymore. Imagine if I had sprung it on him 10 years down the road. That wouldn't be fair to either one of us.
