@@tallleprechaun1318 No, it was part of a rework they did this past summer, when they added the Pigment of Imagination. They gave them more base health, but now damage all nearby enemies on death. It's a relatively rare interaction, since you need to hit a sweet spot of "did enough AoE damage to make multiple enemies vulnerable without directly killing most of them" and the enemies need to be close enough together for it to matter.

Challenge run idea: Rainbow Build (Rainborb? The Rainborb Connection?) 🌈 You must take one (and only one) orb of each color of the rainbow. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and pink. It's up to you if you want to include neutral colors like gray, brown and white. If you want to choose a different orb, you must first remove the matching color (ie, if you start with a daggorb and want a different yellow, you have to remove daggorb first). Optional Hard mode: You have to add the orbs in rainbow order. I tried this myself and it was pretty fun. Ended up winning the run with Red: Eviscorbate (or whatever it's called) Orange: Infernorb Yellow: Daggorb Green: Bramball Blue: Icircle Purple: Poltorbgeist Pink: Rubborb In hindsight, I would have been more selective because I kind of rushed it and chose colors as soon as they showed up. I ended up wishing I had waited for a pink multiball instead of taking rubborb right away, and I probably could have got a better yellow crit ball or something. I also tried the hard mode and I had trouble finding a red orb I wanted. Another challenge could be to only add orbs of a single color. I think an all purple run would be really fun, there are a lot of purple orbs I love- 2 of my favs being Cauldron Bubball and Poltorbgeist. 💜 Let me know if anyone tries this! 😃

Yes. But Cruciball is just generally tough and there's a lot of RNG involved. Tom has plenty of failed runs in it. Best advice I can give for high level cruciball is to take what the game gives you and don't try to force a build. (Except the starting relic. Restart until you get something not garbage.)

The wand of skultimate power and the relic that gives you ballwark when you take self damage don't actually synergize very well. Self-damage has to eat through any ballwark you currently have before it can do damage to your HP, which is the only time the relic actually triggers; it doesn't trigger off damage eaten by ballwark so all you are doing is giving yourself 6 ballwark and then immediately removing it the next time the wand is triggered. The only thing in this build that works with the self-damage-ballwark relic are the orblations as they specifically do unblockable self damage. Really the wand of skultimate power is actually a net negative to this build if the goal is to build ballwark.

With ring of persist: You skip the 1st pebball, then fire the 2nd pebball, you skip the persisting 2nd pebball, then fire the 3rd pebball, you skip the persisting 3rd pebball, then fire something good. Without ring of persist: You skip the 1st pebball, then fire the 2nd pebball, you skip the 3rd pebball, then fire something good. Persist would've been awful here, thank you and good bye!
