BYD Sea Lion 07 is a pure electric SUV debuted in 2024.
This car belongs to BYD Ocean series and it is made with using same base as BYD Song L - it's equivalent from BYD Dynasty series.
Yet, in my opinion, Sea Lion is a little better engineered car with better quality.
Premium solutions in suspension interior and equipment still allows this car to be not expensive. Starting price is far below 30000 USD.

G6 gives some feeling of perfection, but BYD is more understandable somehow, more traditional. My heart would choose G6 but my brain would choose BYD Sea Lion 07 (also because it will be easier to sell after several years of use.

You made such an excellent review, and I´ve seen many. Have you made one of the Song L? It would be grate to have one with this level of detail. Song L looks more luxurious but you said on your video that sealion has more quality. Is it really the sealion better than the song L? By the way Do you know the ground clearance of the Song L? Thank you for your appreciation, I have mde review of Song L but in different language: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nZvYZZKehbCJnas Song L is a nice car but there are some very tiny quality issues and ergonomy problem with pedal cluster. Song L stopped production this summer and new version is coming.

Very tight space for legs at pedal cluster, some small qualitu issues like staples fixating the material in the trunk. Generally Sea Lion 07 feels a bit of higher quality.

@@deniscarslover I am 182cm tall, when I sit inside the G6 I feel like the center armrest is way too high and the materials feels very sticky on the armrest box. Other than that, its very comfy car, front and back even for me a big 182cm dude. I feel the trunk is very big too with 500L space as I have a young child, the big trunk is cool . have to wait for 2025 for sea lion 07 to come HK. But at the end, I probably would buy a BYD because they are just much bigger company with much better dealers and service center.
