Thank you so much ! I’ve recently driven the FWD version averaging 15,1kwh/100km in electric mode only. I scoured the web for the figures on the AWD as it is not available to test in the dealership. Great channel, keep it up ! 🙌

Brilliant, I was waiting for this. Pretty impressive particularly given the ambient temperature was 6c. I did note HEV kicked in (25%) at 97kms though. This is over 2t and 4wd which makes it more impressive. You can extended the EV range by another 10% battery, taking it down to 15% by pushing the EV selector and holding it for approx 3 seconds and a blue EV lights up on the dash, it also forces it into Eco if you don’t have it selected. Really looking forward to the ICE consumption once the battery is depleted(25%). I took one on a test drive recently and managed 62mpg on mixed driving. I’m sure you’ll get more, assuming the average temperatures don’t drop too far.

I noticed BYD entered the Polish market a few months ago. I really hope it will be coming to Slovakia in the near future. You could say that given BYD will begin to produce cars in Hungary next year, it could be a gateway to this, but we’ll see what the crack is in the future.

Not this year. FWD has the same battery, so the electric range will be a little bit longer.

@@1001cars i asked cause i know the combustion engine works a bit differently especially at highway speeds in the 2WD so i’ll be very curious about the differences in real life driving. In EV mode looks a good car, the range is impressive. I think you can drive a few more kilometers when you reach 20% by pressing the EV button for 2-3 seconds. 100 km still a very good EV range considering the size of the vehicle imo

Thanks. It would be interesting to continue with the test procedure from the moment the hev mode kicks for another 100km to see how much fuel it will consume and what will the battery soc be at the end of the run.

Why exactly 100 km?

@TomaszNiechaj well it does not have to be 100, just picked that number to match the ev range. Your average hev route will gives us a balanced result. Thanks again.

I am going to publish the consumption in HEV mode, but it is not as simple as with others PHEV cars. It will be approximately numbers
