✨In this video I have tried simplifying the Resting Membrane Potential in neurons. First I talk about the equilibrium potential and membrane potential and then I apply both to understanding the Resting Membrane Potential. I hope it helps! ☀️

Hello! Your videos are fantastic! I find them really helpful. I would like to know which program you use to draw the illustrations. I don't use drawings as a learning tool, but i want to try it because my aunt told me it could be useful in anatomy and because i really liked your illustrations. Thank you so much for your work! Hugs from Brazil!

Hi! Thank you for your support. I'm glad you find my videos helpful. I use different apps for drawing, but right now I'm using Procreate on the iPad and I quite like it. 😊

There’s something I don’t understand. If the pump corrects for the flow of Na+ and K+ across the membrane, then shouldn’t it be moving more K+ than Na+ given that more K+ leaves than Na+ gets in? Also, if the pump corrects for the outflow of K+ then why doesn’t that counteract the the outward flow of K+? If the pump corrects for ion leakage then isn’t the net permeability of the membrane zero for both ions?
