James, i do like those few paragraphs just prior to the comments, a good update spot i think. I feel a top tip coming on as you finished your evening meal and it concerns cleaning dishes. Make up a spray (dont buy one just remember that the spray nozzle nearly always fits a pop bottle type screw, choose a small bottle and attach nozzle. Fill container with a half and half mix of white vinegar and water. It works a treat and the vinegar smell just disappears after a short while, nice clean dishes. Try it and report back :) Best wishes Mike in County Durham

Hathersage wasn't rammed when I was young. That place called Sangams used to be The Bradgate Buttery, and if you look up, you'll see a double B back to back . I worked there for a short while and watched an absolute craftsman create a coat of arms in plaster, on the back wall. John Little came from Hathersage, he was Robin Hood's right-hand man or Lieutenant (pronounced leftenant) . These men were opposed to king John who was a proper tyrant. They would roam the land and avoid being captured, and the area that they covered was vast . Loxley was relatively close to Sheffield, and today is within its expanding boundaries. The sheriff of Nottingham was a particular enemy of the band of outlaws. There's far more to the story than meets the eye, and many want to dismiss it as "legend " but don't forget that the wicked king John was eventually forced to sign The Magna Carter. History is repeating itself with tyrants today claiming that it's been repealed, but a Law carrying a king's signature cannot be repealed, ever.

Robin Hood and his Merry Men is a STORY ‼️ And like all good stories, has an element of truth to them. King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table is another STORY. However, I 'Grant' you, John, Dick Turpin actually existed ... along with his Horse. Pinocchio is a STORY too 😅😅😅😅

James, if you go to Poundland, you can pick up a 'grabber' with a long handle that you can use to pick up any litter (if you choose to!) they used to be a pound but of course they may well be more expensive now...thye are not very sturdy, but are fine for picking up other peoples' snotty tissues! Also as I know space is a premium in a small van, it won't take up too much room.
