Great explaination, reducing the C factor by reducing polymerization shrinkage, will result in less microleakage(leaky restoration) is, especially by Snowplow technique in class 2, Bulkfill composite with it's large filler size to allow curing in deep cavities, low shrinkage composite like shofu beautifil 2LS,incremental composite packing as you stated, and also soft start polymerization to increase the pregel phase (gradual increase in intensity)........ All this lead to a long lived restoration Not a leaky one

MDS Entrance Lectures by Sai Naveen Kumar Pilli how doc ? you explain it , sturdevent given 0.5 and composite page given 0.25 so
@SaiNaveenKumarPilliPTBD188 жыл бұрын
In the same text book it's given as 0.25. Basically it depends on number of tooth surfaces prepared. For conventional preparation it's 2/4 = 0.5 and for conservative preparation it's 1/4 = 0.25.
@sudarshanmandlecha59778 жыл бұрын
In general overall ? 0.5 ?
@SaiNaveenKumarPilliPTBD188 жыл бұрын
Sudarshan Mandlecha C factor is least for class 4 which is 0.25 as discussed in many mcq books and also based on key given in previous entrance mcq questions.
