Had to remount all mine today to change batteries. Is the figure of 20-25 in lbs correct because they rounded off pretty easy at 22in lbs with an in lb torque wrench?

Hi there! It depends on which plate you have! Some plates mount with M3 screws which have a torque limit of 12-15 in/lbs, while all other plate mounting screws will have a torque limit of 20-25 in/lbs!

Hi there. Please refer to the product page on our website to determine which screw you will need to mount your optic.

The silver ones are labeled 3mm. Those mount the plate. First, though, test fit the optic using the correct length of 6-32 screws so that the bottom of the screws fits flush to the bottom of the plate after mounting the optic. Once you know what black 6-32 screws you need, then mount the plate. Finish by mounting your optic. Highly recommended investing in a ft-lb torque screwdriver. I bought mine off Amazon for around $35, and it came with all the different types of bits I'll ever need to work on my pew pews.

You guys really need to do a better job at labeling the screws that you send and letting people know which ones need to go and which places

The 3mm silver screws mount the plate to the slide. The others, which are black, are all various lengths of 6-32 depending on your optic. Test fit your optic to the plate first. Make sure the bottom of the screws are either flush or slightly recessed with the bottom/underside of the plate. Once you know the correct length of screw to mount your optic to the plate, use the silver screws to mount the plate to the slide, then the optic to the plate. Make sure to torque to the proper ft-lbs.
