C3 Door Weather Seal Installation

Anxious to hear how the Gorilla Clear works....I've been using the 3M black weatherstrip adhesive for the hood and decklid weatherstrips and it worked great....but as you know you better line it up perfect when installed....as there is no room for error....I only did 3-5"'s at a time.... door weatherstrip is up next....😁😁

@@Toms-C3-C4.Corvette...WorkShop I haven’t done a head-to-head test, but I think it will work great. I’m hesitant to start pulling on it, but I can always put a little more on if needed. It is nice to not have to worry about getting color all over your paint. I have sone of the 3M Yellow, which works fine, but like the black, it needs to be put on carefully. I’ll try to do an update on it.

At the top of the door at the rear of the door where you said it doesn’t fit very well that’s because the corner of your door is rounded off and it’s supposed to be squared off. On your door it’s broken off, that is a very thin area and most are messed up in the same way. I think it happens when people let the top slam down on the door. Pay attention to other C3’s convertibles you will see what I mean. Thanks
