C4 Corvette "Stuck in Park" and how to fix it.

My 1994 C4 Corvette would not shift out of park and after some research I realized what the problem most likely was. So I ordered some parts and got to work.

All you have to do is tear the old motor apart and put the new motor on the old bottom shaft and it will work

Is the overdrive the boxed in D or is it the one that isn't boxed at all? Also which should you use on the streets overdrive or drive?

Hello Eduardo, The overdrive Is the Boxed D. I suppose the one that you use depends on your driving preferences and speed. On the freeway of course use overdrive due to the high speeds. Around town when not going above 45 mph or so, I just put it in drive so that I am in a better power band to pass or suddenly accelerate. That is just my personal preference and will likely reduce your miles per gallon. Thanks for your comment and viewing my video.
