FYI: As of 2024.0 the Backdrop Primitive is directly available in the Primitives palette (press and hold on the Cube icon).

you can add it by default to classic primitive objects group as well. Far more useful than a lot of stuff there

This would be great of all the assets were actually in the browser... using latest version and the Studio Background is nowhere to be seen in my asset library.

thank you your tutorials are great help. I have a quick question im stuck please. im sure its very simple but im new to c4d. I have a camera looking at a cube in the centre and the camera orbits the cube. I want to add a background. However when the camera orbits...the background is static. Like it doesn't move around perspectively. What can I do to make sure the background moves as it should when the camera moves. thank you

I don't see these primitives in my C4D. There are only 32 items in the folder, not 37 as in the video. Updated yesterday, 2023.1.3

Please make a video showing "How to snap an object aligned to a certain point/edge/polygon to other objects points/edges/polygons without modifying the center itself. In the case it's not possible (and btw, it isn't): Please Maxon, DO something with the snapping workflow. It really needs some rework. Take a look at Maya/Blender/Softimage/3DSMax.
