That’s awesome ! What are the modifications ?? There was a guy recently that did a 2:18 with a c8 z06 on slicks and some aero so you running a 2:19 is impressive as hell

Thanks! Mostly stock with a few reliability upgrades. AP front brakes, OEM Z07 springs and sway bar bushings, OEM auto radiator and a AWE Xpipe for a bit more sound Oh and the 18” wheels with Nankang CRSv2’s

I've heard of guys removing the ducting inside that runs from the back of the radiator to the vents in the hood. I'm not sure why that would be effective, but it might be something for you to research.

All ducting and shrouds removed long ago lol

@@FIPackage no I don’t, but honestly removing it doesn’t help a lot either to control peak temps. It does allow the car to cool off faster during a cooldown lap or just stationary

What yr is your Z06? Didn't GM come up with a cooling system fix for the 2018/2019 models? Then they made it available for the earlier models.

2019 so already have the updated cooling system, also my car is manual. Also swapped out the main radiator for the OEM 2019 AUTOMATIC radiator which is ~2” thick…

Yeah I’m definitely considering it. Going to try some simple small things first and if that’s not enough then I’ll do the LG setup. Did you do just the HX’s or did you do the oil cooler as well?
