The section from Margecany to Kysak is especially beautiful in autumn. There are a couple of mountains with rocky outcrops with view of the valley, some only accessible through steep unmarked paths, but the views are worth it.

@@RailRelaxation The best spots are the rock outcrops visible at 59:48 (on a nameless mountain accessible via a path from Malá Lodina) and the single rock at 1:03:52 (a big rock tower called Jánošíkova Bašta, accessible by the Cesta Hrdinov SNP main tourist path from Kysak).

The third part takes us to the border between the regions of Presov and Kosice! The landscape near Levoča is beautiful, which with the Spis Castle is a UNESCO heritage site! Our former ČSD Class ES 499.1, 363 CLASS now, seems to feel the weight of the years. Perhaps with the ZSSK class 350, which we met several times on this trip the route would have been different. However, the Skoda engines have always been very reliable! The line still appears very old, the Krompachy station still seems to be anchored to the socialist era of old Czechoslovakia. Here the industrial fabric is not the same as the Zilina-Bratislava axis, but there are two important railway junctions: Margecany and Kysak. When the ZSSK renew the routes, these areas will benefit most from this renewal. And Kosice? The second city of the country seems to live by its own light on the banks of the Hornad and you can see it from the evolving track bundle. Thank you for this beautiful experience! Now on to Czechia and Poland!

@artem_krovs_97-24 There is a line to Zvolen and then line to the east, to Ukraine and of Hungary. I am not sure if they are all operational.
