Firing in all directions inside a small cabin sure hints at panic. If it were an animal, where is the blood? A smaller animal wouldn't cause that kind of reaction in experienced outdoorsmen. Firing all over the place, even into the floor, contradicts leaving the guns inside and locking the cabin upon leaving. Were they perhaps ambushed and taken? By whom and for what reason? No report of other tracks hint at this but the way they left things might indicate they were under duress. Baffling case. The burns remain unexplained, too, given no indication of a campfire were found, or mentioned at least. The 13 year lag in details, and the RCMP's strange lack of forthcoming, seems to hint that something is being veiled if not covered up. Mind-boggling contradictions.

May I just? Let's say you're the sheriff of a tiny town. Two local girls, ages 13 and 14, best friends, have gone missing near a local landmark in a wooded trail area. Their folks first miss them around 3. A massive search begins around 5, as word spreads that the girls, well known in the community, have disappeared. The grandfather of one of the girls is lifelong friends with the local fire chief and valuable resources are made available quickly. It's February in Indiana so it's getting dark around 6. Lighting is brought in. Drones are flown. The temperatures begin to drop. The girls, unprepared for the weather bc at 1 PM that day it had been sunny and warm, are still out there, hungry, cold, possibly injured, bc they're both healthy and very athletic, something is really wrong if they're not showing up. The landmark in question is an old railroad bridge, the 3rd highest in Indiana. Searchers begin to fear the girls might have fallen into Deer Creek below. Finally, again you, the sheriff, call the search off at Midnight, citing darkness (although the area was lit with stadium lights and searchers all had flashlights), falling temperatures, and dangerous conditions, as the topography features steep hills. If it's dangerous for searchers, who are fed, dressed appropriately and equipped with lights and working phones, how's it cool to leave the girls out there with nothing but sweatshirts? If that makes sense, that's the end of a tragic story. Abby and Libby were found brutally murdered the next day, in an area that had been searched. But wait, there's more. Libby captured audio and video of the suspected killer, crossing the railroad bridge, called the Monon High Bridge. People all over the world are trying to help solve this case. There's a huge reward, the owner of the local football team, The Indianapolis Colts, has even donated to the reward fund. There are so many podcasts, articles, groups and websites that I can only say Google the Delphi Murders. Justice for Abby and Libby! Today is the Day. 💔

The shooting in the cabin reminds me of the strange events that happened to Adrienne Quintal in northern Michigan, U.S.A. in Oct. 2019. I think it was in Benzie County. She was alone in an isolated cabin. She called a friend in the wee hours and told her friend 2 men were outside her cabin and she was shooting at them from inside her cabin, while the men were shooting back at her. When police arrived there was no signs of blood and I believe no sign of any return gunshots from the men she said were there, just signs of her gun shots were located. Her shoes and cell phone were found on the roof of the cabin. Adrienne was later found nearby deceased, in 3 ft of water; no foul play.

I would think that the owner would have mentioned gun damage to his property. But let’s pretend we can square that. “Arms had been fired all over the place,” which implies the presence of multiple shell casings. But the brother only mentions a hole (singular) in the floor. Where did the rounds go? They couldn’t have hit anything living, since there was no blood found in the scene. Yeah it’s weird as sh!t, but I think there’s some extra pieces missing here. I'm curious to know if alcohol may have played a factor. Could one of the men got drunk and then started recklessly firing their gun around the cabin? The other man not wanting to stick around left the cabin and then got lost perished due to the elements. The other man being drunk possibly wandering off to look for the other man and in a drunken state ended up drowning in the river looking for the man. People do very stupid things when they have been drinking and their sense of direction and time can easily be skewed. It would explain the reason why the cabin was locked behind them and why both men were found seperated in the woods. Both men left their fire arms behind and to me that sounds like what a person who is drunk would do. Perhaps a drunken dispute that got out of hand? If alcohol wasn't involved I could still see it play out sober but less likely they would leave their guns behind. Very strange incident all around I hope the families were able to find some sort of peace.

I feel like there has to be a third party involved in this. Combined with some hard core incompetence on the part of the police. Leaving the cabin UNARMED is very strange for 2 men like them. I don't think they left willingly. The Nahanni Valley has it's own mysterious past. Look that up, very bizarre! But those victims were missing their heads, so this may or may not be related. Them going unarmed and shooting up the cabin are key to this mystery, in my opinion. They shot their way out of the cabin? Or they were being attacked by something that scared them so badly that they shot from INSIDE the cabin.

@carolyns993 жыл бұрын
First let me say that I am very impressed by your researching and the fact that you put citations in your videos and clearly indicate when there is an apparent contradiction or unclear information. There are a lot of people making videos who could take a lesson from your professionalism. Next, I think there is often a lot of undue emphasis put on "this area was searched before". Many of these searches are made in difficult terrain or weather. There also seems to often be the assumption made that the persons were actually dead the whole time and therefore someone else must have moved their body. It is always possible that the body wasn't found at point A because the person was still alive and wandering about. Sure, there are certainly some odd situations, but, again, the assumption seems always to be that the person was already deceased. In the cases where weeks or months pass before a body is found, the ability to nail down a time of death could be impossible. I have often seen comments such as "how could X have travelled so far in such a short period of time?" when, in fact, no one has any idea what that period of time may have been. In this case, I wonder what the toxicology results were, if done, on the bodies. If they ate something dodgy and started to hallucinate, they might have been shooting at pink elephants for all we know. They might not have been together because they became frightened of each other. Once out and running around off their heads - well, it could only go down hill from there. I wonder what sort of burns did David have. Something from falling in a fire, or from grabbing something hot - a gun barrel perhaps? Were they in some sort of life and death struggle against each other - either from drugs, food poisoning or some other cause that we don't know about. Is Frederick's body believed to have been in the river the whole time? Bodies sink before they float. How far could it have travelled? Was it upstream or downstream? Finally, what was the actual state of the cabin? Are there photos? If not then it is impossible to make a decision as to who was giving the more accurate picture. Why would the policeman lie? Why would the family lie? Is anybody lying or was one party misinterpreting the scene? Had it changed in between? My point being that anything can sound mysterious, bizarre and inexplicable if you don't have the full facts. Even the people searching didn't have the full facts. The only two people who did are, tragically, dead.

Dollar to donuts the round through the floor was an AD, while the guy was reloading, as adrenaline robes you of your fine muscle control, and you fumble things. These stories are always so tragic and completely frustrating for the families as there isn't any closure. Personally, considering the two men were experienced bushmen, we'd have to guess that whatever was in that forest to terrify two experienced bushmen to the extent that they were firing wildly at something outside of the cabin, it was something they'd never expected or experienced before. I'd guess they were either forced to leave the cabin, leaving their weapons behind or they left willingly realizing their weapons wouldn't make a difference. Either way, considering how deep in the woods the cabin is and with their experience, they had to know their chances of survival were slim under the circumstances. Even then, it makes more sense to stick together while traversing the forest but that seems to have not happened either. Did they separate willingly or did something force them to split up as if being pursued? Did one man leave the cabin first and the other went after him? If so, why? That would explain the locked door, not taking any supplies and leaving the weapons behind because at least one of them would have expected to return shortly if this is the scenario. But how did the burns happen? Why the shots fired? Were they shooting at each other? The owner of the cabin is suspect. To say nothing seemed amiss at the cabin when he arrived to find the two missing is a blatant contradiction to what the families involved in the search said. The RCMP sucked too. To so quickly end the search and so quickly claim there wasn't anything unusual found and no foul play when there clearly was tells me the RCMP and possibly the cabin owner too either knows what happened to the two men or were involved in what happened to the two men. 13 years is a long time to stay quiet about something that was viewed as unfortunate accidents.
