Me thinks it's more of the way how it "fits" better into both English and general "pop-culture-language". For example that "Gatorade"-rhyme" certainly would have been far more difficult to pull off with this Greek-name ("Heraklade?", nah just sound right to me...). Of course, having mentioned the "pop-culture", there was also that "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys"-tv-series running also at the same time, so marketing-wise going with the "easier"-name was also the smart move. I suppose while the characters are (for the most part) the same, it just comes down to "which just is more easier"-writing and spelling thing in this case, kinda like E.G. "Fjodor Dostojevski" and "Fyodor Dostoevsky".

They have familiar styles because everyone at Normal Boots, PBG, Space Hamster, Etc. all copy Jon Tron. And Everyone as Hidden Block, who wasnt already on Normal Boots, copies most on Normal Boots... I mean theres the select few who dont, like Jimmy Wetzel, but all of the super popular guys.... they're all copying Jon Tron. And A Heads up...... Jon Tron is copying John C Reily from Brule's Rules. If you've never seen it, look it up on youtube. Its hilarious. Obviously he mixes and mashes with other influences, and isnt just completely loopy the whole time, but the Brule in Jon Tron's comedy in undeniable. There are actually 2 times I can think of when Spacehamster directly copied Jon Tron jokes. Though I can only remember one at the moment: Jon Tron Pokemon Bootlegs he's naming off all of the (NON)Pokemon in a funny voice "We got Pikachu...... Beedrilll..... Monkey Guy.... Other Monster Guy" Space Hamster in the Mario Bootlegs video(which was maybe a year later?) reads off the weird bad guys in that game too with the exact same voice. Its the same joke. Yea everyone is definitely looking to jon tron videos when they're like "oh man, how do I funny?"

and that's why KZbin gaming comedy sucks....everyone is trying to do the same freaking thing. There is nothing that makes them all that different from one another. I think Caddy kind of gets away with it due to the focus on PS consoles and games, but the style of humor that they all do is so similar now that the jokes aren't unexpected anymore and you know when they are about to happen.... And i agree, everyone is trying to do that lulz random Tim and Eric-style stuff and it's not funny anymore....

I will say, there is at least some difference- JonTron's style seems to be "make jokes about games, oh and also play them," whereas Caddicarus's style is closer to "play games, oh and also make jokes about them." While I will say that they're very similar, there is that difference in priorities.

Poppamunz it still wouldn't really work since they do the same comedy style. It's not unique in anyway so the two wouldn't work well off each other. The reason why comedy groups, duos, etc work is because they are all different. it's now become a lazy style of comedy to just be lol so random brule humor

i actually didnt have that much of an issue with the game when i was a kid, the only part i had some Serius trouble beating was the city, and the cyclops runing one, those took A lot of my lives, but i remember always getting every single letter and pot, i wasnt even aware the pots was for Saving, and im fairly certain if you get 100% on every single stage, you unlocked a special new level, and i did all of this! before i was even 12...get fkn rekt Caddi.

It's better to play on the PC. There's no lag with the controls and if you get all the letters you can unlock the level to come back to whenever you like. :)

9:25 That's how you beat him?1 No wonder i never was able to, even many online guides fail to mention this, all they say is "jump on him a few times", but it never worked. Damn this game's unfair, (that was a running theme back then for no good reason). Unfortunately the first stage is as good as this game gets (to me at least), because it has the *least* amount of problems, and it's a blast to playthrough...then level 2 happens... and so begins the rollercoaster of fun and frustration.
