I haven't emailed them yet about the capsules, but when I do so, I'll update this pinned comment! 💕 Update: I emailed them and they responded within 24 hours!! And also for full transparency, I DID NOT mention any affiliation with KZbin or that I have done two videos reviewing their product. I don't care to share that either. They are replacing my cracked capsule and other cracked tile for free and sending me an additional capsule for free as well. 💃🏽They were response and kind and I could not be happier with the response from the customer care rep. I also realized something that I never noticed before. The capsule that has the deep crack is one of the early batches. I know this because on the bottom, it says 'patent pending.' The other capsules I have all have a patent number. My guess is that they have since changed manufactures and also perfecting their product even more because I have had ZERO issue with any of the newer original capsules and also ZERO issues with the new flex capsules. All that just to say, I do believe they are durable and do not break or crack easily. Can it happen? Sure, anything can happen. But I haven't had any significant issue since that one from one of the earlier batches. I hope this helps!! Safe travels! 💕 Additionally, Cadence will be discontinuing their original capsule line. 😞 Unfortunately, I do not have any more details on that. I am sad to see it go as I truly love the original line and think they're so great for shorter trips. So go get them if you want the original capsules too!

One of my capsules cracked and they replaced it and gave me an additional capsule free of charge. Both with the custom tiles. Their customer service is great!

I did the same and asked if I could get the flex system as a replacement instead of the original capsules. I was worried about having the same issue with cracks and splits at the top of the original capsules later on. They could only do the small capsules with extenders, so the price would be equivalent. But still awesome customer service!

I love the idea of the capsules! I like the sizes and the fact that they are magnetic. I am constantly trying to find ways to bring my own products but not take up a ton of space. I'm going to take a look and consider if these might work for me.

I just got 2 medium capsules. Is it normal that the magnet is not strong enough to hold the capsules side by side by themselves? Hope this makes sense.

can you explain the difference in quality between the original and the flex? When you closed the lid on the flex capsule it screeched and sounded awful - are they more likely to be like that over the originals?

That’s a good question. So firstly, they are discontinuing their original line soon just so you are aware. Secondly, the quality seems the same to me. The fed capsules are more matte. I do find the lids to be tighter on the flex ones, just mo but the quality is still there. I think it’s because the rubber seal is built in on the flex whereas with the originals it’s a seal inside the top. I don’t know if this helps at all but I am truly loving the flex ones more and more as I travel and can see why ppl might prefer them over the originals. I like the size variety btwn all of them. 💕

@@KRodCollective I just ordered what'll hopefully be a lifetime supply of the OG's when they said they'd discontinue them, because I love the proportions of the OG for day-use. I think the tall proportion 1) makes it better for liquids (less likely to spill), 2) is more discreet for meds, because the narrower opening is harder to see into, 3) is overall more cute and slightly more portable than the wider Flex Small, and 4) that they have magnetic sides makes it so that you can see all your labels when they're stuck together, and also the lid can snap to the side when you open it to use what's inside, by contrast to the Flex Small where the lid can only stick to the bottom. I've only just ordered some Flex Small capsules, but I anticipate they'd be overall worse for day-use for all of the above reasons I said that the OG is better. For travel, I'm confident the Flex system would be great, because of the need for larger sizes.

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that. 😩Definitely return them. If you do have two medium capsules, you could also put them together to make a large one instead of using the flex if that works better for you. I do that all the time, just fyi. 💕

i just got mine in the mail today! im a little disappointed- the magnets aren't as strong as i've seen on ads, and for the price, it felt a little on the cheaper side

Aww nooo I’m sorry! Yeah, I totally understand that. The newer ones felt cheaper to me (compared to the original ones) when I first started using them but I like them now. The good thing is, you can return them if they aren’t for you and still know that at least you gave them a try. 💕
