Thank you very much for this. I'm in the same position as you and I'm training for Berlin next year. This speed skate seems to be the best value for me for my first pair. So I really appreciate you sharing your opinion on these and I'm glad to hear it's so positive. I'm considering of using 4 x 110mm to start. Do you think it will be better to start with 4 X 100mm instead?

The stock skate comes only with 4x100, so it's easy to start with. It depends ofcourse on your level of skating, but to me the difference from 4x100 to 4x110 wasn't so much. It's still the stability of 4 wheels but with more speed. So if you're used to gain speed, you can easily transfer to a 4x110mm. You'll enjoy it!

@@ChiroSpeedskating @TheBladingPhysio Perfect! My size is EU44 and the stock skate in this size comes with 3 X 125, which might be too much for my ankles even though I use them in my current pair (Maxxums with a marathon frame). So l would have to pick up some extra 110mm wheels. The 110mm size I use regularly in my urban skating setup, so I think they will be fine. Just gotta wait till my size is back in stock now. Thanks again mate. Your videos are always extremely helpful. Any chance I can request your Marathon training plan from week 1-12?

Yeah for sure, normally everything is online in the description of the videos. Otherwise hit me up on instragam (if possible) and I'll share everything from there 😉

@@ChiroSpeedskating Thanks again! Received all of them. This might be a silly question. You mention on some days 40" Speed and 20" Slow pace. Does the " mean seconds, and you just repeat it until the distance is complete right?
