CaHR Coffee and Ham Radios Linked Dipole Kit for 10m, 20m and 40m HF bands!

In this video I introduce the antenna kit from CaHR, Coffee and Ham Radios. This kit is for a Linked Dipole. The antenna is designed for 10,20- and 40-meter bands and you should be able to tune 15 meter. The kit should be available about 1-2 weeks after this video airs.

I’m recently licensed and and have been using an EFHW antenna. I finally got my Mercury linked dipole built and I am blown away by the improved performance. Noise floor dropped from S5 to S3. Signal reports were 55 to 58 ( occasional 59). Now almost exclusively 59 or 59 plus. 20 meters below 1:2 across the band. Was able to get 40 meters 1:2 in the phone portion by lowering the mast 1 segment. Great job on this one. Highly recommend!

Did you use the 705 for convenience or is this going to be a QRP antenna? Based of the normal sized balun you made I'm guessing 100w SSB but just wanted to ask to be sure.

Hi Chris, Yea I just grabbed the 705 this is meant as a 100-watt antenna, plus I broke my 991a nothing bad but need to fix. We are hoping it will do 100 watts FT8 but have not tested that yet and it easily will doo 100+ on SSB.
