Thanks. It was pretty easy, but you do have to do a little work to interpolate the 60p footage to 24p. So either you take the footage through Cinetools or drop it in it's own 60p timeline than export it out to 23.98. Than import it back into your main 1080 24p timeline. But after you drop it in your main 1080 timeline, just do a quick manual scaling through your effects controls and it's ready to go.

I cant believe these people made it very hard to find this film. I first seen this in 2012 and all you had to do was put in cake into the search bar. Now its literally impossible to find it. Yet Netflix as a whole film (Georgia & Jinny) on this topic. not to mention all the other movies and shows. why target this one. I wanted to cry, because I hated to know that me supporting this film caused it to go incognito. I support this film whole heartily ( no pun tended) and hope this director gets more accolades, support and more prosperity. this film shows a black woman in all her feminine glory but deadly as hell. Horror and psychological thriller don't get no better than that! and all this achieved in under 10 min. This is way better than saw!!!!

I believe we used a Shure KM32 for her voice over, and an Audio Technica short condenser shotgun mic for her other elements. They were fed straight into the 5D Mark 3 with a Juicedlink box. Would to have loved to use an external recorder but that would have take up precious post production time synching audio.

Nice Job, good for you & your team. I love the story line, sweet. We shot in Alb,NM on a red & edited w/FCP7. Congratulations. Oh, our 48 HFP project was called "Baking Bad", "Team PH8", our line was "I see Stars", our genre was "Cop/Detective", & our prop was "Powdered Sugar". We have our "Best of Film" this weekend, July 28, in Q. We are in the best of finals for NM. Maybe we will see y'all at Filmapalosa in LA. Your star is a stone fox. Bring her, leave the cake behind. Took a while to get it. The credits helped. Apparently she entertained 3 of Cherry's "indiscretions", but we only saw the one who came to the door. Seems she didn't expect her. Could make a sequel showing her finding more and more of his liaisons all over town. But I see this is old news now.

I was a big fan of FCP 7, but that of course requires lots of transcoding if you shoot with DSLRs. With FCP X I'm just not a fan, tried it for awhile and gave up. Too slow, sluggish, and still has to background render everything. Premiere is great, import footage, work with it natively in the timeline, no background rendering needed. Made the process so much faster than the old days. Yes, they made us down-convert it to SD.

Thanks for the info - we shot both Mark II and Mark III this year - first time with either - we post on FCP, and we had major issues importing from the Mark III (some glitch that they need to patch). Does you local venue force you to dumb down your final submission to SD?

Man, this was awesome. You realize how hard these are to make when you give it a go! Just finished my first 48 hour challenge. We drew the genre “Super Hero”. I wrote it Friday night. I directed and ran the main cam and cinematography on Saturday for 14 hours. However, I made the crazy awful mistake of starting the editing process at 8am on Sunday when it was due at 6.
