I don't like word vegan I call myself a शाकाहारी romanized as shakahari. Animal milk is not शाकाहारी. शाकाहारी means one who eats plant products or one whose diet is made from plant products. Honey is a product of wanton animal abuse, it is also bee vomit, so even though a plant product I don't consume it, also easy to give up as not a staple. Arvind the solution is convenience, no one rides a donkey to work, people stopped abusing animals for transportation because of better alternatives not because of morality.

not true its just non vegans tend to eat more proccesed foods as it is abundent... but when you would compare Apple with Apple means home cooked vegan vs home cooked non vegan mix with dairy, eggs and meat... do any test of two same age humans non vegan one gonna have much better overall health... its also proven in lots of studies... only way you can convey someone to vegan is only on basis of empathy to animals... rest all health related falacies vegans make are already disapproved in various studies

Vegans dont. The have horrible life expectancy. Meat eaters who avoid processed food are leaps healthier than malnourished vegans who have to live of synthetic drugs from a lab for their entire short lifespan. You are comparing yourself to ppl that eat junk food, which is hilarious.

We all love this guy from rajasthan. We watch it together some times. As i proudly say rajasthan is the area in the world with highest vegetarian population. And soon we wjll be the top vegan area also. Right now around 74% rajasthani are vegetarian. They dont consume egg. Only ghee they need to drop. Some change is happening we started cooking in oil. But atleast we are most dense vegetarian population in earth around 4 crore vegetarians. In jodhpur pali balorta sirohi we are 90 % vegetarians. Only ghee we need to drop thats it.

One thing here I want to make clear there are lots of vitamin d supplements which are made from sheep's wool so try to do research before buying a 'D' supplement.

Good Girl! 👌 There are TWO reasons why vegans comprise a fraction of one percent of the population: The main reason is due to humans’ failure to care about what they put into their own bodies - as long as it tastes good, who gives a damn about the consequences to one’s own health, or to the ethical concerns regarding other creatures or the environment? The other reason is due to vegan advocates and animal rights activists being inept in their understanding of morality, as well as their abysmal grasp of human physiology. Almost every single vegan activist I know of, wrongly believes that we are omnivores, and they are CLUELESS in respect to metaethics and applied ethics. However, this is not the most unfortunate thing about the matter. The saddest thing is, that there is hardly a single vegan activist willing to spend even a single hour or so, in order to study proper diet and meta-ethics with the current World Teacher Himself, Jagadguru Svāmī Vegānanda, despite him freely offering to do so on his social media platforms. 😩

Your main point to support vegan food is not to harm animals. In vegan food erything is available and affordable too. I understand and totally agree. I have a serious doubt about "vegan". I really wanted to know, which category does human breastmilk belong to! Please clarify.

A farmer spray pesticides on his crop because other wise his/her crops may gets damaged. If you are a farmer would let your crops get damaged ??? No you would because you have to survive on that crop. Killing a mosquito is self defence because otherwise if he bites you you can get killed due to dengue

Now if a mother is forced to produce milk for the entire family or even better as a business for entire streets( totally possible increase her fat intake inject prolactin and inject oxytocin) That isn’t vegan. If the mothers baby breast feeds on her when she’s hungry for the early part of the infants life, that comes under veganism

I'll say that even in the stomach, baby get nutrients from their mother and that's not by forcing them or any other cruel method. This argument seems to be a smart argument but it's common sense. Only problem with this question is that it shouldn't be categorised because Animals are k1lled or 1mpregnated forcefully but the mother have a choice and they're more than happy to welcome their child than any animal who were forced to do that. And non vegan is all about cruelty, like if you've an adopted dog as a pet, then it is not cruel but normal humanity. Same in the case of breastfeed it's not cruel either.

I think you should go deep in to biochemistry as iron available from plant or othe non animal product are in the form of non heme iron and its less bioavailable and the thing you are talking about lots of micronutrient in green leafy vegetables have antinutrient like phytate,oxalate and tannins.Third thing how will you provide vitamin K2 and zinc

Perhaps u haven’t gone into biochem deep enough, the gut bacteria converts phylloquinone to metaquinone ie vit k1 - vit k2 . And do u know that u can increase ur iron absorption from plants simply by adding vit c rich foods to diet? See I am an absolute non veg lover, but my mom, aunt and my grandmother are vegetarians and none of them have anemia.

Oh and I am a doctor and I have never seen a patient who developed iron deficiency anemia just because he shifted to vegan. See the only real problem is b12 and sometimes b1, but b1 never comes up because clinically we don’t see them in vegans and more in malnourished ppl, however even though b12 is synthesised by the gut it is synthesised distal to ileum, in simple terms can’t be absorbed.

But there’s a catch , vit b12 stores in body it takes minimum 2-3 years to deplete the b12 stores in ur body, it’s the only watersoluble vitamin that’s stored in our body( other than folate(b9) for 2-3 weeks). So not have to be popping a few pills every 6 months doesn’t even come close to murdering poor animals

YOu really don't have to drink a glass of organge juice. Calorie wise Spinach and orange juice has the same amount of Vitamin C. ALso cauliflower has more vitamin C than Orange so does Bell pepper brocolli,(which is now very common though it is an exotic vegetable Brussel sprouts and Kale too are rich in VIT C) then we can include it in fruits after dinner like papaya and strawberries kiwi guava peaches pineapple(this seasonsal fruits will be availabe in different parts of the year so you will get a good source all year long and ofcourse we can consume oranges in orange season). Then Tomato has a lot of Vitamin C. What I am saying that a vegan diet is neither deficient in Iron nor Vitamin C yes ofcourse you have to eat a balanced diet which is a traditional Indian diet. Moringa or Moringakai/Nuggekai/Drumsteam/Saragva ka Sing has 100 grams of Vit C in one cup almost same as an orange. Our South Indian sambhar always has Moringa. You have a cup of Moringa twice a day with your sambhar you have 100 grams of Vitamin C and all the iron calcium and other minerals neeed.

Maybe you should give a scientific proof that you yourself are not nutrient deficient then we will know what you eat fulfills your body requirements Only giving moral reasons is nothing

The oldest living, born vegan child is 84 years old (Jon Cross, son of one of the founders). For other younger born vegans, see people like Sarina Farb, aka BornVegan, or Carissa Kranz. There are many more but they do not make thmselves public. If you have concern, there are vegan family networks online.

I transition to vegan from vegetarian and only when I realized I'll be truely vegan I started to look into minerial deficiency. And after about 7.5 years, I don't worry about deficiency because I eat the food that got all the minerals and vitamins I need. Sometimes I have one good meal a day or two or three or none for 30 hours or so. But when I go to these long periods without eating. I make up for it. The body can only absorb so much. Hi Arvind, I had become vegan almost a year ago before watching your videos. But as a Women, it is very important to keep my body cool since we all know that our body becomes heat for several reasons naturally. When i attended puberty, i was fed ghee laddoo and lots of curd and buttermilk to cool my body down and gain bobe strength. It happens in every Indian house. I have overcome everything and become vegan now. But can you please suggest one alternative for buttermilk and ghee to cool my body and gain bone strength....so that my vegan life becomes easy. I don't want to go back becoming a non vegan....let me stay vegan

I am a flexitarian and avoid non vegan products to some 99% and eat few non veg stuff only if they are leftovers in my kids plate. As an employee and mother i find it easy to fill the hungry kids tummy with an egg and a glass of milk everyday. I avoid it now a days but now I can't find an easy alternative to it. I found vegan curd is quite hard to make and expensive at the store so I started making palaya soru everyday for our prebiotic needs. but an easy food option in vegan is what I am looking for and need advice on. now I give them a few nuts and fruits. I am not sure if they are enough. suggest some easy ready to eat healthy vegan foods.

Sir, I wanted to ask one thing (not to disagree with veganism, I am a vegetarian myself). Indian culture and even the hinduism is about protection of cows as a sacred animal ( as vegan is aslo concerned about quitting milk and dairy products). Don't you think the protection of cows is a necessity in india(not denying that protection of each and every animal is compulsory and should be our moral duty to show emotional attachment to every animal) inspite of just quiting dairy products?? Indian culture and even every festival is celebrated with sweets and those who keep cows (for generations, not for the purpose of milk business) consider cows as a family members. So I think instead of just quitting the dairy products we can learn from our basis of religion which guids us to protect animals of everykind and hunam life can never be independent of nature and its components

A cow's milk is for her calf. In the wild, an average age of natural weaning would be 10 months during which the calf would spend its time with its mother. There are numerous elements of why exploiting dairy cattle is unethical, from their selective breeding, to their premature deaths.

From a scientific POV, that's completely meaningless statement. To gain adequate nutrition is easy on a vegan diet. It's also ignoring the experience of the animals in the equation, & the ethics of their exploitation & abuse. Where can i go and debate him? Is this in any university or he rents a place for people to visit him? Cause the people whom he debates aren't nutritionist who have studied like i have. Its illegal to turn minors Vegan because there were cases of hospitalization because of malnourishment among vegan kids.
