Spencer, when adding for the repeat do you also add 2-4" for trimming (per usual) or does this come out of the repeat... for example total length of 2nd drop: crown to abase measurement + repeat + plus 2-4"

When doing wallpaper patterns repeats in Scotland work off 2 or 3 rolls to maximise waste

Absolutely agree! And my good friend David, you mean to minimize waste of course. I agree; I tried to put forth general principle; of course you and I know that what you are referring to is drop match

I did exactly the same thing on a sheet of paper when i was wallpapering a stairwell even the guy i work with couldnt see the splice.

I work off 2 or 3 rolls when doing pattern repeats less wasteful thats how do it in Scotland

When I do a drop match I simply use two rolls to minimize the waist and as you know, it doesn’t always save your wallpaper but at least we tried to do that; I have a video on drop match and using two rolls
