Do you think the rental market has improved at all?!?
@priyajfit2 ай бұрын
I mostly look on Facebook marketplace in my 7 yrs living here it’s never failed me and lately I’ve noticed the prices have gone down a lot !! Sorta back to normal which is great to see

Rent and home prices are going down but not just Calgary- Toronto and Vancouver too My sister and her partner just bought a 2 bedroom condo in Kits, Vancouver for 70k less than asking price! Rent is falling here in Calgary as my friends are landlords and have noticed it is harder to get people

Calgary is sadly on its way to become the 'New Vancouver' ! We'll start to see tents very soon
@benny87122 күн бұрын
Not anywhere close 'yet,' but yeah, sure, it's going to get more expensive in 2025-2026 with Donald Trump's 25% tariff on the Canadian economy.

@@benny871 really? so a 1 bedroom apartment in calgary for 2000 sounds like ''not anywhere close to Vancouver'' to you ? ok ! i moved out of vancouver a year ago, that would mean it is completely off the league then (in terms of prices)

I appreciate you making these videos - im from Toronto but will be moving to Calgary in May for a 12 month co-op work experience, and am scouting out my finances for the first time 🥲

I am so glad you like them!!! Thanks for watching and your support :) Oh wow!! That will be a change that will bring up totally different emotions in itself. Take a look at Calgary room and rental groups on Facebook!! You may find some better deals on there also and always someone looking to rent out a room but just be aware of scammers and don't give out any deposit/money until day of move in! Hope this helps, if you have any more questions feel free to reach out on IG : patricialing_ I know what it feels like to do that for the first time. I will try to help the best I can :)

is East Village a good place to look for a rental?
@patricialing2 ай бұрын
@@Aquis121 depends on your budget and if you don’t mind being close to the drop-in centre and Salvation Army. Abit more theft and homeless people in the area but nice condos
@rachelk83682 ай бұрын
No- the homeless shelter is there so it is a rough area.

@@patricialing my parents moved back to our country when I was like 7 so I live overseas and I'm not decided on my choice yet but I'm more inclined to business or maybe engineering I honestly don't know how to decide and I know I don't want to study bio related fields
@patricialing2 ай бұрын
@ I would recommend studying here but it really depends what you decide to take! I would say there is more job offers in Toronto (GTA) area than Calgary if I am going to be honest!
