Ok! I've got 1hour every day for working out. Goal: Back Lever and Handstand Push up. Should I train with 5 exercises per sesh. Mixing in the end of sessions ex: Pull 1 = Rows, Pull 2 = Vertical pull, Pull 3 = Rows. Or put both Pull/row at the same workout? I do isolations on weekends like curls and lateral raises cuz I have much more free time at home*

I started calisthenics about a year ago and been quite consistent. From being so weak I couldn't even move myself to do one sloppy pull up, I built up some strength to do 5-6 proper ones. Tho I've been struggling for a few month now to increase my reps. I'd like to do 10 reps with good form. Would doing band assisted pull ups help increase my rep count?
@thebreaker3758
@thebreaker3758 3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, but concidering the strength you already have you could work on your rep count by adding negatives at the end of each set. You could also do them separately of course. Afterwards (when you are exhausted) you could use the band assisted ones as a regression. Helped me with mine, but everybody reacts differently to different types of training. You just have to find a way that suits you. The way I just described is very effective tho. Has helped me and many friends of mine . Good luck on the grind my dude 💪

Add some rows after ur set of pullups , try to increase the number of volume each week (total nºpullups of the session) , i got my 10pullups doing that i started with 20pullups(volume) and got to 50(pullups) after a month was adding like 3-5reps per week
@nathanaelmuller5306
@nathanaelmuller5306 2 жыл бұрын
For me the negative pullup was very effective ! you hold for like 3-5s full range of motion going down. Also you can do jumping pullup and try to jump less every session

Buy some low parallettes (mine were €7) and a pair of wooden rings (€25). Just hang the rings from a tree branch or from any beam you can find. I usually train this way when I'm on vacation and I don't have access to an equipped park.

you consider good idea to do basics after statics session?
@mspacey6230
@mspacey6230 3 жыл бұрын
You should be doing basics after statics session if you're a beginner or intermediate. Darek is not doing them because he's a very advanced calisthenics athlete. If you're already advanced, you try to maintain a great level on multiple skills and training for calisthenics skills is just like a walk for you, then doing always basics after skill session might not be beneficial if your main goal is to learn skills since there's a risk it is going to fatigue you too much and therefore skills won't progress much. A lot of advanced athletes train basics once a week or they train for skills few weeks and then one week they dedicate to basics workouts
