To your comment about liking Pac’s verse better, keep in mind that Dr. Dre is not really a rapper in the purest sense of the word. He is a producer first, and the rapping is a secondary element of his being. Most of his lyrics were written by other people. 2Pac, on the other hand, was a poet/lyricist through and through. He was definitely a wordsmith. He was also a workaholic in the studio. Such is why there is sooo much material by 2Pac that has been released since his death.

Of course a Black person created the music that white people later got acknowledgement for. Roger Troutman is known as a music legend for helping make Funk sound what it became and having influenced much of West coast Hip Hop because you here his sound everywhere.

I recently (a few days ago saw Will Smith put out 2 videos on his Channel back in '18 and the second in June of '19. The first is him in the studio and the second is a warm up with Jazzy Jeff called Back At It. In both he calls himself Fresh Prince, a lot of people have reacted to them and it has been rumored he may have a new album out. Chances of a reaction? He also has a song called Born to Reign from back in like 2002ish that is really good. As for California Love, always loved it, but needs to be played loud. Another cool one is a '95 Freestlye with 2Pac, Biggie, Big Daddy Kane, Scoob and Shyheim (a Wu-Tang affiliate at I think 15 years old I think) .... This may actually be the only time Pac and Biggie did a show together Live.
