First, it’s not just about being able to read brain data; the tech can manipulate and change brain data for good or for bad. Didn’t California just vetoed law and allowed AI companies free of any accountability if their product (or data they gather) is misused? Not sure how this law will help when we refuse accountability and ownership regulations on the other end.
