Hope to eventually move there from California. We have visited a few times and the beautiful and free state of Utah is much better in many ways. Our area gets around 100 most days of the summer too so not a big deal. With all the expansion and construction taking place hope southern Utah does not turn into Southern California one day.

Just don't bring the politics. That's all we ask.

Unfortunately people are already bringing them, and this place is changing cause of it, and not in a good way :(

That’s why we want to leave. Can’t stand the leftists policies anymore and want some conservative sanity. Californians have already destroyed Oregon and Washington. Sure hope they don’t wreck Utah also.

Agreed. I’m from CA but I vote conservative/Red. I left liberal/woke/blue CA for a reason and wish Californians would realize that Democrat policies are what ruined CA.

That’s exactly right. There is city pride there and that’s why you don’t see trash and graffiti around town. Can’t say the same of most CA cities.

Are you thinking about moving from California to Utah? Please, by all means, DON'T!

So, you moved there from somewhere else, so can other people. Unless you are 100% of one of the five Native American tribes of Utah, then you don’t have room to talk a lot of people from California. Want to move there for an escape of the politics of California much like the Mormons who moved to Utah for religious freedoms.

@kobartlett is that your reasoning? The "unless you're an indian you can't tell Californians to move there" is kind of a shaky argument. As a purely practical approach to the issue of fleeing Californians, I can very comfortably say to them to stay in the state that reflects their politics and their culture. They voted to destroy their state, they have been doing it for many decades now. Yes, I say, STAY IN CALIFORNIA, DO NOT COME TO UTAH. Having lived in San Francisco for a couple of years because of work, I can affirm, without being afraid to misjudge those people, that I truly don't see how they can contribute positively to life in our beautiful state. Of all the places I've lived, three continents, tens of cities and countless different cultural nuances I've experienced, the people of the Bay Area and those in southern Californian are the worst humans that I had the displeasure of dealing with. Worst than the Germans, worst than the Israelis or the arabs. No, thank you. Keep them in California.
