I actually used to think calisthenics is crossfit, I used to think CrossFit being this cool thing that increases strength stamina and agility until I joined a CrossFit gym, nothing as bad as I would later see, but there were more fancy stuff than functional stuff.

Since I started to do calisthenics/weighted calisthenics, my chest has changed so well that it doesn't look bad at all. Deficit Pushups/Deficit weighted pu are goated 💪🏻💯

The deficit pull ups 🤣 You mean control the eccentric, right? Yeah, chest is no problem at all for calisthenics. Push ups can be altered enough to create a good amount of resistance and dips are king

0:37 this right here. It's all good that you want to better yourself by going to the gym. But I would suggest that you can just buy a set of dumbbell and do calisthenics at home for the first 3-4 months listening to music or following a youtube fitness influencer. After you have the strength to do weights, you can come to the gym. It will save you a lot of investment and you won't feel like shit in the gym.#advice

I agree with you there, I started training at home with the goal of just getting fitter but eventually fell in love with calisthenics and decided to pursue it more in depth, but those who want to go to the gym should have a base in calisthenics, as I've told many before, there is absolutely no point in you doing bench press if you can't do 20 push ups, unless you're excessively overweight.
