I believe that the assumption is that the Noah's flood story is all true, the world got covered by water, the clams living in the water made it up to the top of a mountain whilst it was still under water, then died there and got fossilized after the water receded. So they point to the clams as proof of the flood story.

They'll say free will exists and that human decides their own fate and that's why evil exists because people stray from teaching of god.
