Yknow I rewatch this video sorta frequently. This server gave us memories that will be difficult to forget. Not that I want to obviously, but that just outlines the sheer importance and impact it has had. All these amazing creators getting together then celebrating the end of a grand time they all had together. That WE had together. I wanna relive this. Go back to all the streams for the first time again. The end of this server honestly brought me to tears. Every time I hear the first note from "Intro" by C418 comes in, I shed a tear. But as all the viewers and creators in the call start to happily cheer "HAPPY NEW YEAR!" it beings me to a very deep sadness and emptiness. It brings me to a full face of tears. I remember how great the year of SMP Live was for the Twitch Community. And how everything has gone downhill this year. I feel pure grief over it, it seems that the end of SMP Live was the end of the worlds happiness. I know it's all a coincidence and that everything I'm saying doesn't really have any significance, especially when this video is seven months old and nobody is probably gunna read this lol. I just wanted to vent about it. About how this simple Minecraft server became something more than just a server, how it became memories and a happiness for many people. Now if anyone read all this then take care. And keep this server in your heart, just like you probably already do, like I do, and like Carson and everyone else does. I will never forget what this server brought me. It meant so much to me just watching all the streams. I hope we can see this again someday.

Thank you Carson, along with all the other members of Goop (now called Lunch Club) for providing just the greatest and best thing in all of 2019. Honestly, 2019 was a pretty shit year for me, but the hilarious shenanigans and hijinks on SMPLive made me happy on the days I needed some lifting up. It doesn't even feel like it's been that long since SMPLive began back in March, and yet looking back, it's been quite the fantastic ride. I'd also like to thank all of the other people on the server (not necessarily a part of Goop/Lunch Club) that also contributed towards making the server just all the better. Truly, this was one of the greatest things ever and I can't wait to look back on SMPLive in 5-10 years from now and just get blown away by the nostalgia from a silly little idea for a SMP Minecraft Server. It would be great to see you all do an SMPLive2 someday in the future, but it is too soon for that, much too soon. For now, SMPLive has ended and it's time to be happy for all the good times and to look forward for what's to come next.

Yeah, I cried. Yeah, I'm sad. But that's ok. SMP live gave me bounds of entertainment all the time it was up. I'm definitely going to go back, rewatch it all, and relive the moments. I might not have been there when fire was made, when we developed agriculture, the age of iron and steel, when man walked the moon, but I was here for this... and I wouldn't trade it for anything else. Without exaggerations, life would be boring and meaningless, as every event would just be considered pointless due to the fact that the universe will still go on. You have a point that 2020 is exaggerated heavily, but are we supposed to be bored and say that nothing was really meaningful? Because if so, why live, why make decisions that in the end don't do much or are underwhelming? After all, exaggerations don't really exist, as all events big and small don't mean anything if the universe continues to exist. I am binge watching the whole smp live playlist again and I got a little emotional over the few bits he made on stream. I get that it's his thing, his comedic trait, but others might cringe at it and look him negatively and that hurts me, because I do believe he is pure at heart And now I just remember how much I love Carson back then. With his current situation, I cannot do anything but to hope he will come back, still being himself but mentally stronger and more emotionally stable

Just came back and watched the ending again. SMPlive was what introduced me to all these channels and really helped me get through a lot. One year ago I got out of a abusive household and moved in with my mom. I forgot how to act normal and act like a teenager. I forgot how to laugh and have a good time. I forgot about friends. When I found this channel I was still in mental recovery and wouldn’t eat much. I would never go outside and didn’t really talk to anyone. I didn’t smile. Then I found this channel and account and it was the first time in three and a half years I laughed so hard. I’m not diagnosed with anything but I’ve been to a lot of therapy and get very depressive episodes where I just sit in my room. This channel was what I would go to and watch a VOD to escape. So thank you anyone who contributed to this server, for honestly I think you really did save my life. I honestly almost cried while watching the ending. Please never stop making stuff that will bring a smile to our faces every day. 🤧

hearing the subtleness of the piano keys crescendoing towards the end really pulled the heartstrings. as a community, we have to thank carson, as he was really the reason why minecraft made the huge jump last year. we will always cherish the memories we had whilst with our friends, but for minecraft, it's different. me and my mates around the same time carson made SMPLive, started playing minecraft again and playing our old world that we spent so much time on was amazing. guys like carson, schlatt, traves, cscoop, poke, joko and even twomad at one point really paved the way for minecraft last year and from my point of view, carson looked like he was borderline tearing up as he made so many memories from the server and he suddenly realised that he won't play it for a while. thank u carson, for everything.
